Factors to consider: a) Are you certain that you would like a 3D shooter on your iPod? Like your concern, file size is an issue, and I personally find the experience very poor since it simply doesn't provide that action feel a console game does. But, if you want a shooter on your device, I believe the file size is worth it for the Gameloft shooters, so if you still want it, proceed to B. b) To me, the only shooters you need are the Gameloft ones. And like I said earlier, the file size is worth it for Gameloft shooters. This being said, do you like modern shooters or futuristic shooters? If you like modern, get MC2 instead. If you like futuristic, get NOVA2. Please note, Gameloft was holding a poll to see which of their games will be dropped to .99 tomorrow. I haven't been following it but I'm sure that the game will likely be either NOVA2/MC2. I know price isn't an issue, but this price drop will be active for 24 hours throughout tomorrow, so you might as well wait and save a good couple bucks. EDIT: According to this post, NOVA2 is in the lead by a ton, so if it does indeed go to .99 tomorrow, definitely pick it up if you want a shooter.
I think i just couldn't find the right difficulty level was the biggest problem. easy and medium left me winning with large leads and hard left me last or second to last no matter what. And running around with nobody to pass or or anything isn't my idea of fun. And every multiplayer i did was just people with nice cprvettes beating everyone. Haven't tried multiplayer since the update though.
Hmm, that's exactly the situation I'm in. I feel that easy/medium are way too easy, while hard is then too hard. That's why I mainly play multiplayer on RR2. Seeing how you say you haven't tried out the new update so far, I would definitely recommend it. The experience was already great, and this update made it fantastic. I still feel that there should be some skill ranking system in addition to separating the car classes, because some people still suck even with F1's, but then again, that might be to the benefit of multiplayer. It's great to experience a win against those noob drivers, and then be thrust into a challenge against more skilled drivers the next race. So definitely try it out!
