You need: Max Adventure NFS:Hot Pursuit Run! Rogue Runner Plants vs. Zombies Spider-Man Total Mayhem Solipskier Tilt To Live Jet Car Stunts Age of Zombies Silverfish Meow Meow Happy Fight Super Mega Worm Wispin Burn The Rope
i have max adventure, nfs: hot pursuit, rogue runner, pvs, spiderman, solipskier, tilt to live, jet car stunts, age of zombies, super mega worm, wispin, and burn the rope haha. Any more suggestions anyone?
I pretty much have all of those that I'll really end up playing. Any lesser-known games, especially ones that aren't casual? Also, Time Crisis 2nd Strike for someone who really liked the first: yay or nay?
DO NOT get shadow guardian. It is basically on rails and all the adventure bits are boring and may as well be a video. The shooting bits are okay, but there is limited ammo so you die loads.
Well, I never really liked racing games, but I did enjoy the occasional NFS game so I sort of avoided racing games on the App Store. Then I picked up RR when it was on sale and loved it, so picked up RR2 and love it as well. But in your case, I may wait for a sale.
Well I thought with there being multi-player that the price is unlikely to come down much, too soon if at all. Maybe I'll just take the plunge!
How about: Cat Physics Osmos Helsing's Fire Cover Orange Miner Disturbance Portaball Trouble in Tin Town Run Like Hell! Cut the Rope
Talk about a back log, I just finished Space Miner after playing non stop for a few days and loved it! Anything similar on the app store ?
Have you played Galaxy on Fire 2? It's not quite as silly/cartoony, but it's a basic space RPG/Trading/Combat type of game. I just finished the main story this weekend (and there are still tons of side quests) - it's pretty good, and the game as a whole is a lot of fun. I actually wasn't as excited about Space Miner though.
I asked this before, but no one answered me. How deep is GOF2? how long did it take you to complete the story? The main thing I look for in rpgs like this is how much can you upgrade your ship/weapons? I found the lite version to be quite fun, but I think ill wait till there is a sale anyways.
Main story took maybe 10 hours to complete, but I was doing side quests along the way. If you just do the main story (which may make the game a bit more challenging since you won't have earned as much money to buy better ships/gear), it may be more like 5-7 hours. There's quite a bit of configurability (is that a word? ) for your ship. You can add weapons, secondary weapons (like missiles), and other useful items like armor, shields, tractor beams, scanners, and more. You only get one ship at a time, but you can replace it at any time with another one (if you can afford it) - sale price of the current ship is taken into account when buying a new one (you can't sell a ship first and then buy a new one, but you don't really need to since the price is auto-adjusted). Different ships have different configurations of slots, armor, storage, handling, etc - you can't actually upgrade this aspect though - all you can do is add/remove the items into those slots/storage, though there are items that modify those (like items that will improve handling, increase storage, or increase armor). I was pretty happy with the entire system. You may be waiting for a while for a sale. I think Fishlabs took their time in putting the first one on sale (which btw is free right now - it's not as good as the second, but there are a lot of similarities in the basic gameplay - the main problem is that the story doesn't really end - it takes you through a bunch of quests and then just leaves you to explore the universe on your own).
I happen to have the original GOF and I enjoyed the lite version of GOF 2 way more. The lite version has weapons and secondaries that you have told me about, but there were only like 5 different primaries, and 5 secondaries. How many more weapons are there in the paid version? Thanks for answering btw, appreciate it. P.S. I think configurability is a word And as for waiting for a sale, I'm good with that, I can wait.
Wow I'm not sure how many. I would guess maybe 20-30 of each. Plus maybe 50 diff equipment items. AND, there are blueprints u can acquire from NPCs that allow u to make more items u probably can't find in the hangars. Yeah GOF2 is WAY better than 1.
The thing I actually lived the most about the game was the graphics. I mean, a space rpg especially needs good graphics, and GOF 2 just amazed me.
With that said, is it even worth playing the first one before the second? I was never interested in the original but I grabbed the second one the moment it was out, but have yet to do anything but launch it once so it appeared on my gamecenter. Is the first one connected to the second by story or are there any other reasons why I should play it before the second one? I grabbed it for free when the second one came out haha. It's probably really dated by now. Thanks.
Not really. The main character is the same, but the story picks up years after and a long distance from the first (with an explanation as to why). You don't miss anything if you never played the first. And unless you like playing in a vast open world without a main quest thread throughout most of the game, I'd just skip it. If you're really curious, you could just play through the main quest part of the game, which would probably take about 2-3 hours. But other than introducing the main character, you won't pick up anything useful for #2.
Yeah, definitely - the environments are beautiful - MUCH better and more interesting than the ones in GOF1.
