I'm thinking of getting Time Crisis 2nd Strike since it's on sale for $7, as opposed to the ridiculous $10 it was originally going for. Seeing as I'm a huge rail shooter fan and an even bigger Time Crisis fan, even of the original Time Crisis Strike, you think it's worth it?

Also, I'm planning on getting Rage HD seeing as I'm a big rail shooter fan. Good/bad idea?

Seeing as that should leave me with about $19 or so bucks after getting Broken Sword 2, what other good games should I get? I'd prefer ones that show off the Retina Display, but anything fun at all works.

Also, I finally see why everyone complains about a lack of Retina Display graphics... It makes all the difference when playing on an iPod 4. Same goes for the Retina Icons.

 

Your mileage may vary but I deleted Rage HD because it was 1.1GB and with my storage needs no game is worth that. Also, I'm not such a fan on rail shooters but it was fun for a bit.

 

Ah yeah, I'm a much bigger fan than that. I've played any rail shooter I can get my hands on since playing Time Crisis 2 as a kid, and I've beaten plenty of them, whether at home or in the arcade. I've dumped dollar after dollar into arcade machines in order to beat some of them, and it was more than worth it. So dropping a couple of bucks for Rage HD isn't too bad. As for space, I upgraded to a 32 GB so right now space isn't much of an issue.

Is Splinter Cell any good?

 

I thought it was pretty good. Makes a nice use of the cover system in combat but I found it a little difficult to pull off being stealthy at times. I think it's definitely worth $.99.

 

so i've been gone for a week. i saw the huge sales, and i'm wondering what should i get? i have a 2nd gen itouch and 8 dollars so i can't get alot of the games, and also haven't picked up real racing 2 and aralon yet. what should i get???

 

Is it glitchy?

 

I enjoyed it for the short time that I played it. The only reason why I stopped playing is that the HD graphics are broken on iPod Touch 4G models. It got really annoying.

 

Get RR 2.

 

I'd go with Real Racing 2 but you're not gonna need a tad more than 8 bucks for it. It is one of the best iPhone games I've ever played. Absolutely an incredible experience.
