Yes! If you're into Adventure and Action games, this is for you. It's definitely not too heavy on the rpg side. You'll be just fine playing this great game.

    I'm going to be traveling overseas;
The way there, the flight is 11 hours.
The way back, a 8 hour flight + 5 hour layover + 2 hour flight.
    Yippee...

I need some games that won't kill your battery, but with lots of gameplay and easy to get addicted to! I'm not looking to spending too much, but I want a few games.

Why skip War of Eustrath? It was one of the best sci-fi TBS apps that I've played.

Haha well he said he liked classics so I'd get ff1 for that reason. Chaos rings is the best tbrpg on the iOS according to most people, but I prefer Eternal Legacy to it. Across Age is my favorite classic rpg. He said he could only get 3, so yeah xP.

Oh, well then I suggest he gets Chaos Rings, War of Eustrath, and Final Fantasy 1. Those would be my top picks, since I believe that War of Eustrath > Across Age. :p

Well, if you just neglected six $0.99 games, and bought Infinity Blade instead... ;)

    Trust me, it's worth it.

Much appreciated. Not particularly on a budget, but I'm hoping to exercise some restraint. Not to mention the fact that I can't play any of these games until either the Iphone comes to Verizon or until I find out it's not coming to Verizon and I replace my stolen Ipod.

In any event, thanks a lot for the input. Surprised to finally see someone not glowing about Space Invaders. At some point I'll pick up RR2, but I certainly won't do so until I have a device to play it on. I'm only picking up games now because there were a bunch I wanted that I haven't really seen go on sale before (missed the last Drop7 sale, never saw Solipskier on sale, and some of the newer, including Prince of Persia which I hadn't mentioned in my first post, seemed like great deals).

I'll likely hold off on getting much more for now (although I'll look hard at Neuroshima Hex and maybe NFSHP) but will keep digging to find some more real gems in the current sales.

You probably haven't seen the RPG aspect of it yet. Or the magic. Or the best equipment, which makes you look like a demigod. I'd suggest you try it.

Nah, just played it for a few minutes. Is it really worth more than 6 .99 on sale games right now? I mean, with the upcoming multiplayer update sure, but in its current state?

I don't know. That's a hard question because there really are some excellent sales right now. I'd rather have 6 Gameloft games by far, but that's just me lol. Well I bought IB as soon as it was out and played one bloodline. Then I left it alone until yesterday. Lol I think I played 4 hours while on the phone with my girlfriend, and now I've killed the God King twice xD. I don't know why I keep playing, but I can't seem to stop lol. The infinity blade is sucking my essence in from within my ipod! But er..yeah, anyways, I'll probably be keeping it on my ipod for a long time. It's freaking fun, it looks so good it's blinding, the equips are as badass as Kunning says, and hell yeah mp is gonna be amazing.

It's a great game but you would definitely get better value if you bought games on sale and just got infinity blade later.

If you like fast-paced action/RPG hybrids then yes, I'd say it is. It may not be worth more than six $0.99 games in terms of content, but it's definitely worth it in terms of both graphics and gameplay - especially once you get to the later bloodlines where enemies use new combos, new moves, and new attacks.

Trust me, it's an experience like no other on the iPhone and iPod Touch, and I've played a lot of games on this platform.

Though if you have a 3rd gen iPod Touch it does have to be a 32 GB or above to play the game. What device are you on?

Is Battlefield worth getting if I already have MC2? What about NFS: HP if I already have NFS Undercover?

Then you should update your device info on these forums, I thought you had a 3rd gen. :p

If you have a 4th gen device, then you should get Infinity Blade - I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it if you like action RPGs (Infinity Blade has more emphasis on "action" rather than "RPG," but what RPG elements it has work extremely well and there's quite a bit of strategy involved in the placing of skill points).
