Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

I didn't get an answer before so I'm going to revise my question a bit and ask again...

I'm wondering which Reiner Knizia game to get...

Through the Desert or Samurai

anyone have a preference?

 

Alright, I'm buying a 25 dollar gift card (for myself :v) today and I'm trying to decide what to get.

I know I'm going to pick up Infinity Blade, but I'm torn between the following:

• Real Racing 2

• Aralon

• NOVA 2

• Mushihimesama Bug Panic (Probably going to have to get this one, I'm a huge Cave fan.)

• Hook Worlds

• Eden

• Bad Company 2

 

I'd say definitely get Battlefield since it's only $.99 and has a great campaign. The rest depends on what you like. If you're a big RPG fan then definitely pick up Aralon. If you like racing games then get Real Racing 2. I'm gonna wait the five or so months for the NOVA 2 sale because I'm so busy with other games that buying it now would be a waste.

 

I am getting the ipt4g 8gb from walmart and they are giving a free 50$ gift card. I know i will be using 10 on some other stuff for other stuff but i want to know wat games to get.

I am geting real reacing 2 and infinity but wat else should i get.

 

Whats a great $5 game?

Just get RR2 already.

Anyways, is Dream Mode on X2 Soccer 2010 as well as the better gameplay good enough for me to skip FIFA 10's Be a Pro and Manager modes? I've asked this for a billion times with no answer.

This. Lego Harry Potter is good too, but it has nothing on RR2.

 

While LHP isn't bad and I have no idea about the other thing, RR2 blows everything out of the water and is definitely GotY in my opinion.

 

GOTY must be Aralon anyway. : D

Still suggesting that even though I don't really like racing ones?

 

RR2. I've put 10 hours into it since the 17th.

10 hours out of 48.

 

No way, Aralon is full of bugs/crashes. RR2, not so much.

 

RR2 is a racing game, Aralon is something revolutionary for this platform.

 

RR2 is the ONLY good racing game for the platform. Aralon is an extremely superb game that will revolutionize this platform when it's plague of bugs and other issues get worked out, and while it will eventually stand head and shoulders above other RPG games, there are plenty of good RPG games still.

 

Meh, bought RR2, so we'll see. : D

 

Thats not true. Need for Speed Shift is amazing on the iPad (and I assume iPhone) and its on sale right now for $.99. Thats not to say Real Racing is bad, its awesome but its not the only great racing game on the iOS.

 

I thought Shift was horrible. Undercover was the best out of the NFS series, but RR beats them both by far.
