Ok, thanks. I wasn't even around in the arcade version's time. TA is getting me into games older than I am!
Oh lol yeah, I love how the AppStore keeps bringing back old classics... I find them more fun than most new games in fact. I had played a lot of these games before even, found in random arcades and abandonware.
We're calling Battle Blastaholics Anonymous. Now. And is Crusade of Destiny worth a buck? It's on sale and it looks good for the price.
You can always try before you buy....we have a bunch of demos available right now. Here's a list w/their appropriate download links: http://bit.ly/cDWl5Z
I've heard some good and bad things about it. STP gave it a 2, but I forgot what they said. It's only a buck right now, so if you're REALLY looking at it, I'd say go ahead depending on the money you have. Otherwise just look through the Yipe 5 thread if you havn't done that yet. And is Surroundead still fun? For a zombie tap-to-shoot game it looked fun, but I've heard good and bad about it, so just wanted to hear from you guys first.
I just got it yesterday, I'm really enjoying it. Yipe won't be for everyone though, it's really simple overall which could be a plus or a minus depending on the person. Where it really shines is in it's humor. I'm not too far in the game, yet I've already gotten a few laughs out of it. For example, the king is scared of spiders and requests you go out and kill EVERY spider in the world. I'd say for $.99 definitely worth it.
