Holy crap lol! People all gave you the same gifts? Hahaha. But yeah. Chill out for now and buy like crazy when the onslaught of good games start churning out this week xD. ---------------------- I bought tehra dark warrior a very long time ago when it first came out and just launched it today. I just have to say wow. For an indie game, this is probably the best hack and slash I've played on the iOS. Believe me, it blows the HoS series away. Sadly, it's quite short at only 2 hours but seriously consider checking it out. You actually have to use tactics to win, not just button mashing. Check out the review and you'll see a myriad of people saying how hard it is. It also has pretty nice graphics but doesn't do too well in the sound category. Check it out if you have 3.99 to spend or wait for it to go on sale for 0.99, but seriously it's a great game. Also, comments on Red Star for the guy who asked. I haven't played too much yet but it certainly feels like a console port. The combat is great and any hack and slash fan will enjoy it. After all, it's a ps2 classic. The checkpoint problem is a ***** sometimes though.
If you have a Windows PC Here is the Momo level no start or charactor select screen , it jumps straight into the game. Here is a taste of Momo Alienstarcatcher in Windows PC format. You control Momo with with the arrow keys. You move Momo left and right avoiding the Meteors collecting the stars. Small star= 50 pts. Big Star = 2000pts , plus invicible for a few seconds Ray Gun = Fires a small spaceship that will destroy Meteors When the boss appears , avoid his bombs and after they land you can fire them back at him. Your highscore will save ,so you can challenge yourself over and over. Very addicting download your free copy now here http://krenisis.freeforums.org/momo-alien-star-catcher-plus-free-windows-pc-version-t189.html In the full version you have 2 charactors to choose from , each with thier own enemy and different power-ups so both have a different feel and different strategies to win. Enjoy!!
I have to say both as well. Although, I have been more addicted to Silverfish if you really can only buy one.
WOWOWOWOW!!!! Red conquest just went free. Don't ask, don't speak, just download the damn best rts for the idevice now! Omg go!!
Am I the only one who just couldn't play Red Conquest at all? I'm no RTS player at all, but I can understand some RTS games, like Warcraft 3, etc, and I just couldn't do anything at all in Red Conquest. It seemed like an awesome game, but the controls and interface were way too confusing for an RTS noob such as myself.
Basically what you do is you click a production unit like your mothership and then create more units. Move little miner guys on the transparent rocks to get more resources. You can move by selecting the icon with the circles. Then you drag the movement pointer of units to where you want them to go. You can also mass select units and move them as one with another menu option. Fights commence automatically. That's about it, you'll probably be able to get or figure out the rest through experimentation.
+1 i was just reading a thread about RTS games earlier today and heard this game mentioned...i'd been getting it confused with C&C and always blew it off. only today did i realize my confusion and now its gone free. thanks again!
There's only two controls that actually need to be utilized to 'play' the game and possibly even get good. First is the basic movement controls, you tap the first button on your bottom menu to the far left, this brings the screen into a mode where you simply drag your units where to want to go. Of course, you might want some units to actually move, so to build units, tap on your mothership, hit the hammer looking icon, and choose a unit to produce. Your mothership and miners can mine minerals and I believe also another green faction unit can I just can't remember a the moment. So yeah, you don't target enemies in combat in RC, you control movement only. This is actually very conventionally because with the amount of troop micromanagement I'm doing constantly, I really don't have time to aim. Theres no way I can explain the whole game here but these two things really are the two core parts of the game. Vingdoloras has created a full fledged tutorial guide on this forum and may be utilized to learn the more complex parts and tricks of the game. Cheers, hope to see some of you online!
Wow Red Conquest is awesome!! I feel so guilty getting this for free so I'll make sure I support them in the future.
im going on a plane to america soon so i need a good long action rpg for example gta the story needs to be long and entertaining
Kinda hard for any of us here to offer recommendations when none of us have played any of these yet (unless someone has already logged a few hours into Eternal Legacy).
