I personally say wait for NOVA 2 to come out, see how it turns out to be, and go from there. It's almost always the newer, the better, but even after NOVA came out, there were plenty who still preferred Sandstorm's multiplayer over NOVA's. Let's just wait and see how it turns out to be before making any decisions.
Can anyone recommend a good proper game with a storyline and some continuity. I have been playing many casual/pick up and play games but want to play something with a story and many hours of gameplay that is progressive rather than purely aimed on getting a higher score. Thanks.
Battle for Wesnoth - multiple campaigns, each with good storylines and hours upon hours of gameplay. Galaxy on Fire 2 - good story/campaign with tons of sidequests Rimelands - good story and turn based combat with about 5-10 hours of play Hero of Sparta 1 and 2 - God of War like game with good story and action The Quest - open world RPG with lots of expansions for alternate campaigns There are number of point and click adventure games, like Monkey Island, Beneath a Steel Sky, etc. Oh, and if you can wait a week or so, Aralon just got submitted, and I'd be willing to be a lot of money that that will be an epic RPG.
I'm with Chris on that one... Where'd you hear that? I don't think Gameloft would even consider such an idea with the success that they always have at their $6.99 price point.
Space Invaders Infinity Gene? I kinda want this, but is there replayability? Could someone quickly describe this game, even though I've tried the lite......
To be honest, I didn't like it that much. The gameplay is very basic and the level designs are completely uninteresting. Even at the later levels, the gameplay is more about persistence than actual skill. The musically generated levels are kind of cool at first, until you realize that it's possible for the game to generate a level that's impossible to pass without getting hit, and that nearly every level you create ends in a boring boss that takes waaaay too long to die. Trust me and avoid it. I personally consider it one of the most overrated games on the app store.
Infinity Gene is a must-have IMO. The evolution concept is sweet, you make progress towards evo whether you finish a level or die, that's why some say it's not skill required. Not true. You evolve way faster based on your performance. Anyway if you didn't like the lite I don't suppose you'll dig the full version.
What's better Zombieville USA or Age of Zombies. I can get the hoverboard with the code for the lite one, so which one has more replayability and lasts longer...and is overall better
age of zombies lol..zombieville, and any shooting sidescrollers just aren't fun anymore. They're way too outdated. AoZ on the other hand is at the top of the dual stick shooter category. It's very fun and has survival mode on many maps.
