No, it's pretty different if you ask me. The only thing that is similar is the you have to avoid baddies in each. They're different enough to coexist on one device.
Yeah! Whenever. I'm on break now so I'm pretty much free. =P --- Is MC2:BP worth the $7? I really like fps's, but I'm on the fence with this one.
Oh definitely! Especially if you can play online. I've played the first 5 singleplayer missions and stopped because of the multiplayer. Definitely worth it!
Based on content alone, I'd have to say Spirit comes out ahead, especially with the recent update. Plus I like the graphical style a lot. The "geometry wars"-esque graphics are just beautiful. Silverfish is pretty addicting, but I'd say Spirit is better in the long run.
Anyone else? Silverfish was just released for a sale price and the deva say they will add more content. Would spirit be ok if I didn't really like the graphics (just my opinion) and wanted some short fast games??
i vote silverfish. silverfish kind of borrows from a whole bunch of different games but all of the aspects of its gameplay come together very well. it has a real timeless feel to it. a mix of nostalgia with a contemporary presentation. people have been comparing it to tilt to live, but i don't think that's accurate at all. i agree with some others in thinking it's more along the lines of a modern day pacman without the maze. i really think it's a great game. another thing that is really cool is how active the developer is in these forums. if you've paid attention to the thread for the game, you'll see his name on every page, answering questions and asking what he can do to improve the game. if intentions count for anything, this game will have a fairly regular update schedule. i can't say enough about this title and the support surrounding it. i've had spirit for a little bit now and i like it. there are some frustrating aspects, but on the whole, it is a fun game. if i had to pick one, i'd pick silverfish...but if you're intrested in possibly picking spirit up, you should wait for one of it's fairly regular price drops and snag it when it's a buck.
Completely agree with the Pac Man part. No idea why they compare it to TtL. I really like both titles. Both devs are active on here as well, which doesn't hurt. I just don't know what it is about Spirit that I think puts it ahead in my book. I'm just not sure you can compare the two since they're pretty different. Here's an idea! Get them both. ;P
Have you finished it yet? I bought it a long time ago and I basically gave up on it. It required waaayyyyy too much grinding. I may come back to it I guess but I just need the motivation to actually play that game. I keep it on my iPhone thinking I'll come back to it but it's been two months and I haven't touched it.
I think I'll get Silverfish. This response deserves a HIGH FIVE! Edit: Just got Silverfish...just curious about Spirit...probably gunna get that too!
Spirit is great. Silverfish is great too, but the only thing I don't really like about Silverfish is the controls. I'm not too crazy about swipe controls.
I'm playing it right now with level 45-48 characters after 10 hrs of gameplay. I haven't had too much grinding but obviously it's involved... Anyways make sure to teach them the skills that hit all enemies at once. Its a time saver I hate the voice acting bug though...
What's it like? Like is it more of a serious racing simulator like NFS shift, or is it more like a fun arcade racing game?
It's more of a fun mission-based arcade game. Quick little assignments, good for quick play sessions, pretty fun!
