I am considering all of these critically acclaimed games. The question is, which one do I get? You decide (cue dramatic music) -Space Invaders Infinity Gene -Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor -GTA -Eliss I know that they are all really different, but I just need to know which one has the best bang-to-buck ratio Thanks
Space Invaders Infinity Gene and Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor have a lot of replay value. Especially Spider
Yeah, but the thing that bugs me is that for just a few more of my dollars I could get a full fledged ds/psp videogame! At the same time I find it hard to spend $10 on an iPhone game when I have only really played all the way through a few of them. At the same time, now I am thinking about Driver and Avatar which are also supposed to be amazing. Thoughts?
SIIG without any hesitation. I think it has a lot of replay value, I got it months ago and still play it Eliss is still one of my all-time favorites. NOTHING like it. except Eliss Lite
I have read that SIIG goes by really fast and that the music generated levels aren't that great... and I played the light version of Eliss and liked it, but I didn't get as much enjoyment out of it as you are describing. Another thing about SIIG is that it cost $5. I could get Driver for that amount of money, and that is a full fledged video game with great 3d graphics, a story line, physics simulator, and long story mode. Don't get me wrong, out of all of these I am really tempted to get SIIG the most, but I just can't get over that price tag when I compair it to other games. I know that is one of the issues that the app store has, but don't blame me, blame society
Forget everything you have put on your list. Go buy TNA. It's currently the best Tuen Based RPG out there. Idk about if it'll remain there even longer (waiting on SteamPirates) but for now it's amazing. This answer applies to all who are looking for a good 3 dollar game. And for 5 bucks, Driver would be an awesome game. I've played Driver 2 since elementary/middle school and it's awesome. I jst can't go for it due to space limitations. 8gb goes fast...
I was just comparing in terms of my perception of game value. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole retro thing, but I see games like Driver, GTA, NOVA, Avatar, Real Racing, and ATV Offroad as being games which should be more expensive than 2d puzzle / bullet hell games. It is hard to rationalize buying the latter when they are the same price (ish)
Then you go into content, replayability, and the dreaded 'fun' factor. Do you really think assassins creed is better than hook champ? soosiz?
I know I know. My rationalizing isn't rational. Still, there is a part in me that just can't stop thinking that SIIG is just going to go down in price as soon as I get it... The price just seems too high considering it hasn't been lowered once since it's release a half a year ago....
horrible feeling innit I guess unless you feel like you must have it immediately then you could get the other games on your list to get preoccupied with.
To anyone thinking about getting Doodle Army (I bought it last night), it's like a better version of Zombieville. Highly recommended.
Space Invaders Infinity Gene for its endless replayability. Sure GTA has a lot of depth and gamelife, but once you've finished it, it's unlikely that you would return to it.
im pretty sure that GTA is the best 10$ i have ever spent because of its fun...i have played like 2 hours and im only 20% done...im sure that it will give you over 10 hours of gameplay...thats like paying 1$ for every hour of fun...most hour long games cost about 5$
When it came out it LAGGGEEEDDD!!! WHenever anything happened it lagged. If you have a higher end device, it might not lag anymore, but it might be the game. Check out the lite version before going for the final game. The game is ridiculously fun. I had a Namco demo disc I got from Soul Calibur 3, and that was the best game on the disc. I couldn't stop playing it, it was just too fun.
