Okay the lite blows. I hated it. Yet I still bought the full version for some reason. The longer ropes, faster ropes, blah blah blah made the game way easier and more enjoyable. Plus the upgrades make you want to play for something. Highscores make you play the same level over and over again and still enjoy it (if you want to go for highscores). It's amazing.
Okay I might check it out then. Or should I wait for that new game by that developer? I think it is called like SuperQuick Hook
SuperQuick Hook... let's call it Avalanche I dunno. Looks pretty awesomely addicting. But I have no idea if it will be as good as Hook Champ. May as well wait for it just in case it's a game that's up your alley. As long as the wait time isn't too long I'm sure your soul won't suffer any more permenant damage from the lack of Hook Champ.
is warpgate just a game where you buy stuff from one planet and sell it at another, with poorly constructed combat interjected?
Haha. I will probably cave in and end up getting Hook Champ. All I have heard of it have been great. Thanks for your help!
In all honesty, no. There is exploration (each planet has its own description) and the galaxy is huge btw, upgrading your ship (there are ALOT of ships and weapons available and the details of the models are slick), interchangeable factions (can take sides, social dynamic with many types), fighting other ships in a turnbased combat that is like FF but way cooler since the units move around and act a real combat scene), trade (extensive economy with news reports that make it dynamic as well), probably more stuff but I am not that far into it. Battle for Wesnoth, and Puzzle Quest are my all time favourites and warp gate joins the bunch.
Well, THPS2 SHOULD have had one, but for some reason, it was removed from the iPhone version. Unfortunately, TouchGrind doesn't have one either. Obviously, you already have Labyrinth 2, and I think iBlast Moki has one as well, but I can't think of any others, unless Sketch Nation does as well.
The only one I have at this moment is SpaceBall $2.99 not sure if it's worth $2.99 though.. Other ones I found were LUXOR $.99, Bonsai Blast $2.99 and Blackbeard's Assault $.99
oh man, for $4.99 I think its a great game. I bought it within hours of its release and I enjoyed the game a lot. For $8.99 though, I'm gonna say no, considering all the other options you could go with in the store. I bet it goes back down to $5 at some point. I'm not taking anything away from the great game that it is, just don't think its worth $9.
So Nova HD vs Modern Combat HD for iPad? (and why?) I haven't been able to pick one as they both seem like rip offs of popular franchises yet FPS controls seem much smoother on the iPad when I tried a couple of iPhone shooters on it (BiA).
Looking for some line drawing game suggestions. I fell in love with this genre after playing Flight Control. I also play Lion's Pride, Heli Rescue and the Flight Before Christmas. I am looking for more line drawing app suggestions. If anyone has any suggestions/recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!
Drawrace - it's old and not really a full line drawing game. but you draw lines to race. interesting concept. Also has hotseat multiplayer. Drift Sumi-e - same as above, without multiplayer but gorgeous artwork. Harbour Master - copycat of Flight Control but with slightly more depth, i.e. colour-coded ports and five maps I think. Stoneloops of Jurassica Atlantis Sky Patrol
Harbor Master is a souped-up version of flight control-if you enjoyed Flight Control, you will LOVE Harbor Master
MCHD. Definitely. Great control scheme, you can melee (unlike NOVA), there are no hackers on multiplayer maps, and the multiplayer maps are HUGE. It's annoying that if you quit a level, when you come back to the game you have to start it over (ala Rolando 2) but other than that the story mode is great, with fluid graphics, lots of weapons, and an interesting plot. Much less linear than NOVA's story mode; you can wander around your surroundings and really investigate what's going on.
