Haven't tried ZombieSmash! yet, but I can tell you The Hero is a lot of fun.

Only have a few bucks left on my gift card. What are some good $.99 games?

Really? Sick, now I have to find time between sessions of Zenonia 2, Aftermath (which I did end up getting), and a few others.

To Sqrudy: Gameloft is having a sale on some good quality games for only $.99. They're usually $4.99 each. I bought Dungeon Hunter and Earthworm Jim and I'm enjoying both a lot! Dungeon Hunter seems to have a lot of depth and will give you a good amount of playtime and replayablity with the different classes. Earthworm Jim is a platformer that has great controls and some humor. I would reccomend these.

Another decent $.99 game is Crusade of Destiny. It's a RPG in a 3D world. It's a bit of a grind but it's also fun!

Now I have a question for you guys. Is Blades of Fury worth $.99? Are the controls decent to use and does the game have good replayability?

Ok thanks so much. I checked out Earthworm Jim and looks great. I am probably going to get it soon.

Yes it's worth $0.99 (Graphics are great)and the controls are as good as Dungeon Hunter, with different modes such as swipe and buttons. I would say it has a decent amount of replayability like for the first 50 times. The arcade mode can be played with many different characters(The AI is easy for me) but it gets repetitious and you can unlock more characters somehow... Great game if you like Soul Caliber :) The only downside( for me) are the voice, they sound weird....

I havn't played it much yet, but I really am enjoying it so far. It starts off a bit awkward not being able to manually fire, but you quickly adjust, and it really helps conserve ammo as opposed to other dual-stick shooters. Plus, this is one of the most atmospheric games I've played on the iDevice, and if you really want a creepy atmosphere that most other games on the App Store have failed to deliver, check this one out.

Thanks for the reply! $.99 is hard to pass up. Well, I plan to play the game off and on occasionally so it sounds like I would enjoy it! I'll be buying this soon.

    Glad I helped.

I may be a bit biased since I helped develop 7-Second Arcade, but I think it's a good pick! I've been playing it at least a couple of times a day every day for the last few weeks. There are 50 very fast, intuitive minigames to complete and 3 long unlockable ones. Despite my best efforts I still haven't managed to unlock the third. :p

On a somewhat less biased note, Caligo Chaser is a very solid roleplaying game. If you're into grinding for levels and loot, you will probably get a lot of playtime out of this one.

Blades of fury is a decent hack and slash. Just b prepared to mash some buttons.

I HATED dungeon hunter-linear, hack and slash, BORING. Some like it though, so check out some reviews for it and you can find out if it's worth your buck.
