Necromancer Rising is a ton of fun and it's 5 bucks. It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's a great game and you'll probably still enjoy it a lot. Otherwise there's Underworlds if anyone still remembers that. Great game as well. Dungeon Hunter is 5 bucks as well I think, and another great buy. Your best bet is still to wait for Zenonia 2 though. It'll probably be in the $3-5 range. Oh yeah, welcome to the forums.
Yea, Dungeon Hunter was really good. I'm gonna try out the lite version for Necromancer Rising, it looks pretty interesting and Underworlds as well. Thanks, and when does Zenonia 2 come out?
Well, they havn't said anything definite about Zenonia yet, but from the looks of things, probably end of March/early April. Apparently they had too many bugs in the first version that weren't being pointed out and they're getting some new testers. So judging from that, I'd say about the time I said. And Necromancer Rising is just awesome. And there's a TON of content. You're only getting a bit of the game when you play the lite, but keep in mind that it starts off a bit slower in the full version as you'll have lower gear and not as many enemies coming at you at once. But it's still a ton of fun, even though I'm only on floor 2 of about 50 or so. Underworlds was great. I spent an entire class period playing that game and didn't get bored once. And that was back in version 1, and with the updated quests and stuff, it's even better.
After searching, I found this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nUv72PaqxI by gamevil and at the end it says March 2010 so ya your probably right. Yea, I'm playing the lite of Necromancer Rising and I found out that in the lite you start as a level 30! I like the graphics and I killed like 5 enemies already! Some parts are a little confusing though. I might buy it, but Underworlds looks really good too and by the way you described it, it sounds even more promising. I sadly won't be able to get both so I need help to choose. Btw, you got to play games for an entire class period?! Lol
Between the two, seeing as you have to make a definite decision, Necromancer Rising. It has a TON more content, and I could have probably been playing that one all day had I had it at the time and been able to. It's probably the equipment description, especially at higher levels (I got to play around with the later levels at the end of the beta testing) that's confusing, and it still overwhelms me a bit, which is why we're still trying to see if he can implement an equipment comparison system in an update. And last year in Spanish we had a really cool teacher who didn't care what we did as long as we finished our work, and we only had a short worksheet that day and my friend was out of school so I just played Underworlds all class . Oh yeah, I have a feeling that Zenonia 2 will probably be April. Seeing as the second Beta will be later this month: I have a feeling that it'll be around the last or second to last week of March that they test, and then after that a week or two to straighten up final issues, like with Caligo Chaser (which is still getting it's final touches). So yeah, you should probably wait and get another card for that game later and buy Necro now.
I am not a fan of Necromancer Rising....sure it's got nice graphics, but the frame rate can be sketchy and the buttons are so tinyyy. I find it boring to be honest, more boring than Doom 2 RPG
I loved it. I've been playing a ton of it lately. A TON of it. It's one of my most played games lately (only behind GTA and Zenonia). What was so boring about it? And I loved Doom II RPG too. I guess we just don't see eye to eye on this one...
I just realized I can get Underworlds AND Necromancer Rising but Across Age looks awsome. They all look sweet and I most definetly can't get all 3, so which one(s) should I get and why
Necromancer Rising is my personal favorite out of the three, and so you should definetly get that one. As your second game, go for Underworlds. I don't know much about Across Age, but it's gotten mixed reactions, and it costs quite a bit more. So I think Necro + Underworlds would be your best choice here. Or Final Fantasy I. With either combo/game, you really can't go wrong.
Or you could actually wait a bit on those 2, NR just came out of a sale, so eventually it might get into another one. And underworlds has had several .99 sales (you can check @ slidetoplay the price changes), I'm very picky about regretting buying a sale because of a sale the next day, so you might want to consider that if you're like me (the cheap type )
I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that EA did such a ****ing awful job of porting those games. Most of the questions in trivial pursuit are miscateorized and just reading the reviews for Monopoly in iTunes makes it clear that those morons couldn't even program a PRNG that works properly. And yet despite this, they still refuse to release any sort of bugfix or rebalancing update for either of those games. It's sad, because these are games that should work really well on the iPhone, but have been outright ruined by the incompetence of the studio responsible for implementing them. Over a year later I'm still waiting on an alternative version, but nothing's turned up so far.
Agreed, I have the regular Monopoly, and its outrageous how fixed the AI is, it always rolls just enough to pass over my properties, always land on the draw a card spots, all the good properties, etc. It really is disappointing, it'd be great to have a good Monopoly app..
I got alot more apps yesterday thxs to you guys now.. my ipod still seems empty +_+ LOL soo suggest more
