4. Sword of Fargoal + Battle for Wesnoth ($5)
5. Sword of Fargoal + Peggle ($5)
6. Trenches + Peggle + Battle for Wesnoth ($5)

 

#3 definitely.

 

Could you give me a reason why you chose #3?

 

Is it? Even better than red alert?

 

Red Alert (C&C i assume) is fail.

Decided to change my list. I'm taking out Battle for Wesnoth.

why would you take out wesnoth!?

*sigh* 3, i guess..

 

Taking out wesnoth doesn't mean i'm not going to get it. There is still a slight chance i may not get it though.

 

Trenches is utterly terrible, IMO. I beat the entire game in 18 minutes on normal difficulty by tapping "spawn infantry" as fast as I could and occasionally grouping together some of my units. There is no game there. Sword of Fargoal + Peggle is an awesome combo.

 

My current "wanna have" list:

I'm searching for a game with good graphics (they don't have to be 3D, they just have to look good), good gameplay and a very big value, which one of these should I get? Of course, you can recommend others, my favourite genres are racing and action.

Wesnoth is the worst game I've played as it is just too laggy and glitchy and generally not that fun. Miss out and you're not missing anything.

 

I don't usually get the big name games but I'm thinking of biting the bullet on one of them. I love RPG-type games but don't want something too complicated given that I don't have hours and hours to play on a regular basis (but I do still play games a bit most days). I also enjoyed Sandstorm but ended up getting slightly bored with BIA and Wolfenstein RPG.

I'm looking at the games on sale, such as Avatar, Ravensword, Sword of Fargoal and the Secret of Monkey Island. I'm also looking at Nova. Not sure if I forgot a game on my potential list. Multiplayer is not a factor since I just don't have the time. I'm focusing on campaign mode.

My backup is to just go with what has always worked for me, getting cheaper games with great gameplay/fun value.

Other recent games I've bought and enjoyed include MiniSquadron, I Dig It 2, Pac Man, IBlast Moki, OMG Pirates, JCS, Peggle ...
