Apple really needs to release an iPod Touch 5th gen next spring. I cannot wait to update to play these games.
awesome week of releases! definitely getting LHP and super crate box. It really feels like gamevil is milking zenonia now though...
Yeah, it's going to be insane. Excited to see what's actually going to be out. Break starts for me after 5 PM on Monday. I'm stoked. Got my hardest final before then sadly. They might be milking the series, but I think think these guys deserve it. They popularized RPGs on the iOS. We really haven't seen anything after over two years and a half that got more attention than the original Zenonia in early 2009. That was the first KRPG I ever played, and I've been a big fan of Gamevil since then.
Impressions are up for a few of this week's releases if you're interested: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2037964#post2037964.
I'd say go for MC3 and wait for a sale on SFIV Volt (they have more sales). If you like fighters a lot go SFIV Volt, but otherwise it's a safe bet going for MC3...
I just got a $10 itunes gift card.. What should i get? I was thinking Junk jack and black ops zombies.
Junk Jack has an amazing amount of game for the price. Black ops... Not so much. Actually while I'm here, everyone should check out Wind-up Knight. It's great.
Modern Combat 3 is pretty good, the multiplayer is awesome. Street Fighter IV is good too, although you won't see as amazing graphics or presentation. It all depends on whether you prefer shooters or fighters, but both have amazing multiplayer components. On another hand, King of Fighters-i is a better game than SFIV Volt, but it lacks an online multiplayer. If that feature isn't all that important to you, I would get KoF.
Depends which you like. If you like shooters in general, you can't go wrong with MC3. The multiplayer is best on iOS It's just so much fun! Actually, nominating it as my TA GOTY
Decided to look at Monopoly's About section, and found this: http://t.co/fw5drO8D So Venan is owned by EA I presume? I must have missed that news.
Unity focused xmas present Hi, First time poster here! My brother has recently become interested in creating iPhone games and has done a fair amount of basic stuff using Unity. My question is: Does anyone know of a good Christmas present for someone interested in iPhone game programming? Any books on programming would be useful, but they would have to be just a step above beginner level I think. Any slightly cooler gift ideas would be much appreciated too. Apologies if this is the wrong thread for this question, and sorry for the vagueness of the question...I'm afraid this kind of thing is not my forte! Thanks!
you should buy license for shiva3d game dev engine : ) its about $200 http://www.stonetrip.com/ is most cross-platform engine : ) all books and stuff he will be able to find on the site for free! if he has already Unity and want to keep at it, buy some assets for him : ) like pack of art: 3d models or images. So he will be able to play with it and put into own game.
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=116179 Omg, Big Albie's first review here in a year. It's for MMR. The last one he wrote for TA was the one for RR2 on Dec. 15, 2010.
