If you were being sarcastic, I wouldn't have even given this the time of day. Meaning I wouldn't have taken the time to post the iTunes link just to mock it or give it any more publicity that it doesn't deserve, IMO.

 

To be honest, I think it's pretty much the same people that buy Angry Birds. Joe Public doesn't know what actually makes a game good and what doesn't, he just sees the similarities to the game everyone's talking about and considers it a good sign. I would say it's the same reason people keep buying Call of Duty, but I'll probably get quicksco-*shot dead*

Got all my impressions up for the week!

Includes IB2, The Bard's Tale, DRWAPS, Inertia, Zen Pinball. Will be doing Desert Zombie Last Stand if we actually see it today.

Alright ladies and gents I'm stuck. I can't decide between black ops zombies a bards tale or desert zombies. I'm a fan of all genres

It's my impressions for DZLS and The Bard's Tale. They are pretty detailed with pictures to boot. Backtothis' impressions for the games are right above mine and include black ops.

I'd personally recommend The Bard's Tale, but I'm loving everything about DZLS except for the lag. Ultimately I'd say go for Bard's Tale now and get DZLS on the 9th when they push out the performance update.

Man, a tough decision. I assume you read the impressions, but if you still can't decide, I'd say go with The Bard's Tale (full blown RPG; no questions). But if you're really craving a shooter get DZLS because it's pretty awesome, but remember there's no MP right now, only 2 maps, and kinda laggy (update on 12/9).

Also, if you get The Bard's Tale make sure you have enough space. It's 1.7 gigs uncompressed.

 

I haven't tried all the others but The Bard's Tale is a fun and economical sure thing save for large file size. Desert Zombie seems limited with only 2 maps.

 

I need to update my impression because there are some key points missing as of now.

Yes, there are only two maps but more are expected by Christmas. Plus I'm pretty sure that's 1 more than black ops.

However, the game is survival based and very challenging. Zombies come at you fast and are relentless. There are also zombies with guns and can use the stationary turret as well. I say all this because you will definitely be challenged to get to high levels on each of these maps, so the fun doesn't go away quickly. There's none of those slow walking sexual moaning zombies.

Also, if you are a person that likes leveling and grinding then there's a decent amount of weapons and upgrades.

There's also a satisfactory amount of achievements that will keep you playing longer.

As far as where you go and what you see, this game is very comparable to the likes of Zombieville 2; except, everything is in 3D .

This is also a more fast paced and exhilarating game than Zombieville 2.

I assume if the game does well (which it seems), we will probably see MP sooner than later. They've said they are definitely considering it for a future update.
