Well, Gameloft's having a pretty massive Thanksgiving sale this time around (20 games) so which of these are worth getting? Already getting Spiderman, btw: Gameloft Sports Pack Prince of Persia Shadow Guardian Shrek Kart Starfront Avatar Any of these worth buying? And which ones are the best?
Personally, I would pass on AoZ. I'm not very much into dual stick shooters. Despite the luster in design, I feel as though once you beat the campaign, you won't play it. I remember having it on my JB'd device. Others might disagree, but this is my opinion. I would go: GLWG > Blocks Cometh = BP 3D > MAMC > WmW > AoZ > BMS Your must buy list is pretty solid, similar to mine. Not sure about Spy Corp though. Also, keep in mind that Jet Car Stunts uses the accelerometer. If your trip involves riding places, then I wouldn't recommend it as the motion of the car would screw with your controls. But it's a great game. Sorry for no one responding, Lawless but I think it goes as a presumption that no one actually bought BANG. The developers haven't posted on the forums in over a year(? Correct me if I'm wrong), but yeah, I haven't bought it so I can't tell you. But as for Samurai bloodshow: think Plants vs. Zombies except you can't play it while doing 5 other things at once. It's the non-casual version of PvZ and on top of that the campaign is non-linear. I personally am enjoying Samurai Bloodshow more than PvZ primarily because PvZ you could beat in your sleep, but then again, this is coming from a guy who didn't enjoy PvZ at all. Honestly, the game was extremely linear and too easy, didn't offer up a challenge and frankly in the end was boring. Nice visuals though. Samurai Bloodshow requires a quite bit of grinding though, might I warn you. People might see this as bad, but I kind of like it because it doesn't give you that sense of being overpowered going into each stage. I highly recommend it, especially for a dollar. Prince of Persia is worth it if you're running on Iphone 4 or a better device. People say controls are bad, but that's coming from casual gamers who play Angry Birds all day. If you're skilled enough with your fingers, you'll enjoy PoP.(Gameplay is long as hell too since it's a port). I personally wouldn't bother with any other of them. (Look at other sales instead, like the ones by Namco:eg. Time Crisis 2 Second Strike). Don't. Just don't. Look at the reviews.
Ok guys, 3 dollars on my account, and need to prioritize my buy list(will hopefully get more credits by tomorrow): Puzzle Quest 2 (2.99) Gesundheit! (.99) Ant Hill: Tactical Defense (.99) Time Crisis Strike(.99) Time Crisis 2nd strike(1.99) Inotia 3: Children of Carnia(.99) Am probably going to add to that list when more sales come by Black Friday
Starfront is the only one I would suggest. I, personally, wouldn't lose any sleep if I missed a Gameloft sale. The only Gameloft games I really recommend are NOVA, MC, and DH (maybe not so much after 3; IDK yet).
I'd say get Inotia 3 first; that's $1. Then get Anthill; that's $1. Then get Gesundheit; that's $1. So, that's the 3 bucks you have right now.
PoP + Starfront from that list. Nothing else. Definitely not. Not worth the 1.1 GB of memory either. Worst Gameloft game from 2011, no joke. Gesundheit, Anthill, and Inotia 3. All excellent games.
Thanks goofy and back2this. Grabbing them now. Edit: also, inotia 2 worth getting? also a buck(though not on sale). Should I be getting it before gesundheit or anthill?
Actually, many people say Inotia 2 is superior to the third game. I agree in some ways. You might want to get that before Inotia 3 and grab the other two games on your list.
Does anyone know if Phase 10 (the game) has multiplayer? Worth a buck (on sale now...) Also: how's Sonic Spinball?
