Which should I get out of Bumpy Road, World of Goo and Contre Jour? Or any must get 99c app? I've heard that the latter two seem to not work too well on the ipod small screen in the higher levels?
I'm guessing people don't buy games over $0.99 anymore even if they're TA's top rated games. I mean, World of Goo was TA's GOTY for 2010. How do people not have that? Bumpy Road, Volt, Scribblenauts? All among TA's highest rated games and were on the GOTM list for the months they came out. Lol..
I already have Street Fighter 4 and I quite like it. I never play online, should I buy Volt as well? Any change to the graphics/environments available?
Personally, I don't purchase any more games even if they are gotm unless it truly totally is a must buy, even then, I sometimes just put them on my wishlist. I have way too many apps in my library to clear first. Saying which, I assumed you bought those so any recommendation? If you are wondering, I won the 99c app.
So, you're on TA for the purpose of looking for good/new games, and you won't even buy their 2010 Game of the YEAR (WoG) at normal price? They pick two of those per year. I'm not sure what's truly a must-have if that's not it.
For me it's a problem of cash... I'm 14 and parents don't fund my iTunes credits. I rarely go to the place where they sell goft cards here and my only source is codes from ta or somewhere else. I actually often buy pricy games, but I run out of credits way too often so I stopped it. Anyway, should I get World of Goo if I'm not a big fan of puzzles and I have 6 puzzle games only and all remain untouched.
I have a question and i dont know where to ask so i do it here: I have a problem with game center, same of my deleted games dont get out of the list even if i download them again and delete them again. They ask every time: do ou want to delete this app from game center? I always say yes, but with three games they just stay in the list even after downloading abd deleting multiple times. What can i do to clear them from my game list if this doesnt work? Thank you very much i realy appreciate replies!
Yep, some games are bugged and won't delete off of GameCenter no matter how many times I try. It's annoying as hell. There's actually nothing you can do. I think they automatically delete after 6 months of being unopened, but there's nothing else you can do but wait. Having that problem with Archetype, Glow Hockey 2, The Blocks Cometh, Jenga, and Doodle Army 2 off the top of my head.
If your not a fan of puzzle games, I'd say pass on World of Goo. I'm also not a fan of puzzle games but I bought it on the PC a while back, played a few levels and then never touched it again. Once in a while every year or so I'll try playing a level or two, then stop again. I did but the game to support the dev...
i have world of goo on my home made arcade machine.. and with a trackball the game is a blast.. on the ipod i think its to small to really enjoy it.. i ordered a ipad 2 will be here next week.. will give it a try. chris.

I've just been using "Textnow" and it's worked fairly well for me. Though I don't use it enough to know if it drops texts or not...
