I don't know about the rest of them, but Where's my Water is pretty awesome, think of Cut the Rope but with a different setting.

Squids: ~4 hours for me to just beat the game. I've seen people describe it as a "strategy" Angry Birds..or a lite SRPG/Final Fantasy Tactics with Angry Birds mechanics. Its fun to me and has great presentation, afterwards, I spent some time getting 3 stars on all but the bonus levels. The game has no real replayability to me after getting 3 stars, but its still worth it.

Pix'n Love Rush: Its a good game, but I guess its not my taste. It was fun to me, but I don't know what its missing, but it didn't hook me at all.

Solipskier: There's actually a flash version of the game. The game to me, is a deep endless runner game if you want to score high. The mechanics seems to reveal itself the more I play. You can give the flash version a really good try to see if you'll like it. It definitely controls better on the touch screen to me...

    From what I've played:

Scribblenauts won't last you 15 hours, according to your 3hrs/$1 ratio.
Flick Soccer is repetitive and won't last you long.
    Jenga won't last you long.

So I have to go with... Jet Car Stunts. In my opinion, it is a classic game that everyone must play. It should last you quite a few hours of joy and frustration especially if you're the type to try and get the gold medal for each level. But if you're the type to just breeze through the levels, not caring how well you do, then I'm not sure how long it'll last; perhaps 2-3 hours. I've definitely spent 4-5 hours by getting all the gold medals for the platforming levels. I haven't even started the Time Trial levels :p

Is Flick Home Run fun? I can't find a thread for it on TA, but it's been in the top 5 paid games for a few days now. Didn't bother checking it out when it was free. If the online multiplayer is good, I'll get it.

    No online in it...just leaderboards
BUT, it is fun, and i'd say i've played it enough to justify a 99 cent purchase easily if i would have paid for it. The swipe controls work excellently, how long you wait on a pitch and where you hit it on the ball all make a difference too. And there's RPG upgrading elements for power stats, contact and batters eye (lets you see what the next pitch is going to be)

It says in the app info and in the pictures that there is head to head multiplayer though over GameCenter..

Not interested in another casual sports game if there really isn't.
    Alright, let me know.

It was definitely nice for free and pretty fun; it DOES have multiplayer in it. Now, i haven't fully tested the multiplayer (tried once, got disconnected) but its' through GC and should work...

yeah its pretty addicting, considering i got it when it was free. the online multiplayer is similar to homerun battle 3d. There comes with one mode unlocked, and i haven't unlocked the other two offline modes, despite grinding a ton, so i can't really give you a full review. I recommend it though

So I've been away from iOS for about a year and a half and really don't know what to go after right now. Anyone have suggestions on games that are similar to the following?

UniWar - I enjoy turn based strategy games. Tried out Great Little War Game on my Android tablet, but I just couldn't get into it. Anything similar that people would suggest?

Dragon Chronicles - By far my favorite game on iOS, but I'd like to try something new if possible. Losing my save that had a 150+ level Melwyn made me a sad panda.

I'd probably say go b/t WMW and Death Rally. I personally loved Death Rally, amazing top-down racer and it just got multiplayer, but if you like casual games a lot more than action-racers go with WMW (i don't own WMW atm...)

Should I get Junk Jack if I've never played a single 'crafting' style game before? Is it the best out there? And will it last me awhile?
I think I'll pick up GarageBand, Squids, and JCS for sure. But that leaves a bunch left on my card. Are there any great game suggestions you guys have??? I've bought like nothing in the last couple months, and didn't own an iTouch until almost May (by the time I actually started buying stuff, at least). Just no rpgs (unless maybe it's a tbs) and polished, fun games with ~3hrs/$1 (that's my ratio I've found to work well for value. No less than two hours per dollar if possible though...)

The learning curve of the "crafting" genre is really steep, and you really have to invest a lot of time. If you're a patient person, you can get through the tough first few days of in-game time and get to the good stuff; building stuff with the tools you've finally figured out how to make. If you're patient and creative, it's worth a shot to try the genre, as Junk Jack is easily the best one of its kind I've seen on the app store.

Just been playing Flick Home Run and I quite enjoy it. I like the way you upgrade power, contact and batting eye attributes, which enable you to hit / swipe the ball further as you develop your player.

It's a repetitive game, in that you're only swiping to hit a ball that's thrown towards you, but because there's different types of ball which are only revealed halfway through the bowl, and a little luck about what you land on (points), it's feels varied.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet, but already got my bucks worth in the first sitting.

Thanks for the impressions. Think I'll pass though haha. Not a fan of any flick sports games.

@backtothis: Yeah, I personally don't think Flick Home Run is worth it. As others said, it gets extremely repetitive after a while. You probably will get bored fast.
