The full version is the one with the blue looking guy on it. Make sure you buy the full one... It's a very good game..a steal at .99!
I have all 4 games and I bought BiA and am enjoying it. If you haven't beat MC and Nova, i recommend beating those before to see if the price of BiA drops.
Umm, sliders! Seriously though, I can't think of many games that have as much gameplay as this one for a buck. It really surprised me when it went on sale. If you like turn based wargames at all, you should pick this up.
I'm just going to add to the conversation about console games on iDevices: I like to play games on the go a lot. When I'm in the car, or just don't feel like having to sit down and play a game for a good chunk of time. I find myself playing games like Final Fantasy less now, simply because I feel like I have more work than ever, and don't have the time. I find it easy to be able to pick up a game on my iPod, play for a few, go do something else, and come back. Plus, if I have to go somewhere, I can bring it with me and play there. At school as well, I can sometimes find some time to play when I'm done with my work and there's a sub or when no one cares, and I like to be able to play games like these at those times. It's a combination of quality and convenience, so it's 2 good things at once. Then again, it's definetly not as fun. Using a controller to play games, or just to be able to look at a bigger screen and not have to look down at your controller the whole time is a big plus. I hate having to look down at my iPod's screen for extended amounts of time, and often have to shift to another uncomfortable postition, an issue I don't have with consoles. I can comfortably sit in a chair and lean back without having to constantly look down at the screen. So it all evens out. While console games are fun on the iPod, they're more fun to play on the actual consoles, but a lot of the time, you just don't have the time to play on those consoles. Just throwing my 2 cents in.
Why thank you sir. I think I addressed both sides equally. And everyone needs to get Super Why! RIGHT NOW!!!! If it's as good as the show, it'll be so corny it's hilarious. Ok, it's some stupid kids show, but it's so stupidly corny that I watch some of it here and there for about 10 minutes at a time just for laughs. The characters are corny and the kids that reply to all the questions are as slow as an old person trying to complete a marathon that's completely uphill. I wonder if the game will be as humorously corny as the show.
completely agreed! somewhat agreed. although console games are supposed to be more fun, i actually find myself going to my iphone even if i do have the time to play a console game. maybe it is just me, but i enjoy the iphone just as much if not more than consoles.
I'll agree with you there. There are some games that just can't be done on consoles, and I'll just feel like playing those games. I'm thinking of games like Touchgrind, N.Y.Z. (Again, not out yet), Skee-Ball, or Homerun Battle 3d, where it would just be hard to mimic the experience due to the use of the iDevice's touch screen and accelerometer. Those games can be just as much, if not more, fun than many console games I've played (Like DBZ: Sagas. Then again, pretty much every game is better than that one). So, again, I'm with you there. But you just don't get the big-budget games as much on the iDevice as you do the console, although that's starting to change. I also like to play indie games, and that's something you see alot more on the iDevice.
yea. most of the time, you can bank on a high quality game if you are looking at a console game. maybe it is just me being lazy, but something about consoles has really turned me off lately. my all-time favorite console game is super smash brother (go ness!). despite my undying love for the game, im too lazy to walk to my living room, turn on the wii, sit down and wait for all the credit stuff before i get to the main screen, navigate through 5 levels of menus, pick my character, my opponents and the stage, wait for it to load.... then i play one match and it has been 15 minute. . the other thing, i could reach for my iphone, press an icon, wait 10 seconds for the menu to load and get a lot more playing time in in 10 minutes.
Yeah, I'm with you again on that one. I've been wanting to run through a few games I really love, like the Metal Gear Solid games and Final Fantasy X, but it takes longer to get started, and therefore means less playtime. I also feel like I have a bit shorter of an attention span. I play a game for a few minutes, put it away, and pull out another. Repeat the cycle a few times, and then just give up, and you have what I usually do. On my iPod, if I get bored, all I have to do is hit a button, maybe scroll a page or two, and then hit an icon. Much less work. Maybe I need to give up iDevice gaming for a week or so to get back into my console games... man those were some good times playing those games..
i too, have short attention span when it comes to games. however, i believe that this problem came about once i started with the appstore. i dont remember being so ADD before i discovered the iphone. it has cursed me! i strongly do not suggest giving up iphone games for more than a day. every day i come to this site and find a new game that looks good. without the iphone and this site, i would be missing tons of great games. too bad i will be away for a month in the summer with no internet connection, being a camp counselor for snotty 6 year olds in the middle of the blue-ridge mountains! . how i will miss tA!
Oh man... that sounds painful... Make their time there an absolute hell to make up for it . Good luck man, you'll need it. Just bring your charger. And I think I could pull it off if I really wanted. I more or less meant cut down iDevice gaming to pretty much out of the house only. I really want to play those long and involved games again... I'll force myself out of ADD. After this week that is, since I have 2 essays, one due Friday and one Monday (since I did the wrong essay over vacation... long story...). So yeah, next week we have testing so pretty much no work. I'll get back into my consoles more then.
it isnt actually as bad as i said it would be. just no tA. i _AM_ getting paid! the only console game i want right now is super mario galaxy 2. thats it! but i always keep coming back to DDR!
Well, the money's worth it. More iDevice games! And the only console game I'm LOOKING FORWARD to is Metal Gear Solid Rising. I don't care about anything else in the works, that's it. Oh yeah, and Dead Rising 2 and FFXIII. I forgot those... But yeah, I have more that I want to beat first. And I used to be good at DDR, but now I'm pretty crappy. It's all about Guitar Hero for me now... The music in DDR started getting to me.
Hi, I paid $1.99 and felt I got a heck of a deal, so I would recommend buying if this type of game appeals to you. Great game and great developer who listens and works hard to improve and update the game. David
Can anyone else answer this? I have the same decision to make and they both seem awesome. ZCC seems to have better graphics and just looks crazy awesome. and the 3 round game idea sounds pretty interesting, with the upgrades and all. FKF is an option because its $1 cheaper and the whole upgrade thing seems cool
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- What should be asked is whether the game is worth your time to invest in it. In this case the dollar value is almost irrelevant.
