What are you guys getting today/tomorrow? The only game I am gonna buy is Anomaly: Warzone Earth. I've been waiting it for a long time.
Probly not any of the new releases really (but I'll get Lets Golf 3 for sure since i think it's free ), though I'll wait and see on a couple to see how the garner reviews and such. I don't see many of these games being better than the last couple weeks, of which i haven't picked up almost anything besides Temple Run . And since I have seven bucks with a car trip on the horizon in a week or two, I'm thinking of taking a bunch of those notables instead. Just curious, but how do some of those games appeal to battery life? Like are Gesundheit and Blobster easy on it? Check that: NyxQuest and Pickpawcket look like they might be pretty good and I'll take a look at those.
I'm thinking about Exitium, Zen Wars, Anomaly, NyxQuest, and Julius Styles for tonight. They all look pretty decent and cost less than $10 total. Does anyone see any other games worth looking into/getting? Lol @ Let's Golf 3. ----- By the way, get Zombiesmash if you don't have it somehow. It just got freaking multiplayer. Epic. ----- iBlast Moki 2 next week! Hope there's other good stuff coming out as well. It's going to be my last week of releases before college, heheh.
No idea. Only got an US account. The pricing model and 1.3+ GB file size when uncompressed are enough to turn me away though. Never liked the first two in any case. Actually, I just don't like golf in general xP.
It's freemium with all that stupid energy stuff. E.g. Let's Golf = better. Let's Golf 3 would probably be better, but it's freemium, and you know what that means. You pay to play basically. 1 energy (you get 6, dunno if you get more by lvling htough) gets you 1 hole in single player, 3 in multiplayer. Regens every hour. No premium loophole/way out either....
Beta tested Exitium, and recommend it a lot. Fun game, and the story changes with each of the 4 characters. There are 2 factions, which each contain 2 of the characters, and those storylines are completely different. Fun game.
Yeah, definitely getting it anyways. I love KRPGs, and Fantastic Knight showed that Minoraxis knew what they were doing. Anomaly looks so freaking amazing, ahhh. I'm thinking it'll be gotw. Can't wait to play it. Not a bad week of releases. Getting NyxQuest and Zen Wars too. That should do it for tonight's releases. Going to pass on Candy Boy, Julius Styles, Golf 3, and the other releases. ----- Edit: Got Pigs in Trees as well.
Okay fellow TAers I know this is really more of a gaming type area but I was wondering if anyone knew of a good team task management app?
Let me know how Exitium and Anomaly are. I've narrowed my options to those two and they both look quite promising, but not insta-buy worthy. Feedback please!
Yup. It's easily the most popular game this week for sure. The Kairosoft game could have a chance too though. But I haven't even played their games so idk.
Anomaly is seriously a killer game, lol. Exitium is a nice KRPG. Storyline is pretty decent, but it's nothing new in terms of gameplay. I'm a fan of the genre though. NyxQuest has great visuals. The gameplay is a nice change from the usual platformer. Check out the videos. Pigs in Trees is a lot better than I had expected. Usually hate line-drawing games, but the controls work well here, and there's a lot of action. It's kind of like A.I.R. Defense, just more casual and fun. Lots of action unlike Flight Control xP. Zen Wars is alright. It's my least favorite game of the pack so far, but it'll probably be better once I try multiplayer. That's why I bought the game in the first place. But yeah, Anomaly, that's the shit.
Huh. If Exitium is just the usual, I'll pass on that. I'll buy Anomaly though since there's been nothing but praise for it. The only complaints are that it gets boring quick, and while that would normally instantly turn me away from a game, a tower offense game is completely new and I'm all for trying out some new ideas. Buying Anomaly, and FINALLY, a back-to-back purchase week for the 2011 year.
Exitium is just the usual stuff. Still playing the game in order to prove myself wrong. Anomaly is one heck of a game. Great idea but a bit lacking in tactics. Guess I'll name it a must try title Oh and correction: the game doesn't get boring quick. It's a slow but gradual process.
