Yes it does. Some guy on the FFT thread says he has it on his Touch 2G, he said that it has some slowdowns but it doesn't take away much of the gameplay. I'll be very disappointed if he's just trolling though. Well I hope it does run or else I just spent 15$ for nothing.
I tried it on my 2g device yesterday, and it was very choppy and lagged. But I do have it jailbroken and have some tweaks that take up RAM. Might work okay on a vanilla device though.
It'd be alright if it was a bit laggy, main thing is that it's playable. Thanks for confirming, SkyMuffin!
Grrrrrrrrr. The app hoarder in me is coming out and I will probably spend the $16 on it even though Ill only play it for like 20 minutes and never touch it again.
Yes! I just tried it again-- this time with my 2nd gen in Safe Mode, and the first scene and first battle are pretty slow, but it gets much better afterwards. It is definitely playable, and the slowdown isn't bad.
Just played through the first battle. Runs decently everywhere except when casting spells/skills in battles. Also has slowdowns on cut scenes. Having no skip button when it's the computer's turn just took me 20 minutes or so for the first battle. :l Edit: Scratch what I just said earlier about it having decent frame rate. It went slower for me as I progressed. If you have an older device, just wait for SE to fix everything first before you get it(assuming they'll support older gens). I'll just install this on my cousin's Touch 3G so it doesn't go to waste.
Game most similar to Mario 64? I've looked trough the AppStore and haven't found anything decent in the field of modern platformers like Mario 64 and banjo kazooie. Are there really no good platformers? Sounds strange since there are at least 10 decent RPGs and that is a much smaller audience. Any suggestions are welcomed warmly Got anxious kids with me here
Hello guys! Sry i was on camp for one week and i wanted to know what i missed.... ( dling FFT, hope its worth the price!)
Rayman 2 ported by Gameloft is probably as close as you can get to Mario 64. Its $5 so not sure that you want to fork that over. Its pretty decent but I've only played it a few times.
Yeah I got it as well a when the had the update, and while it is the closest to Mario, I found it unplayable due to controls and camera. I think there is a lite, so I'd give that a spin first.
I remember Mario 64 having a pretty craptastic camera, so perhaps that just makes Rayman fit the description even better.
Sorry to ask this again so soon but I finally got an iPad and I need some recommendatiions for board games: any input on Ticket to Ride, Cargo Runners, Samurai or any other titles. Mind you I already own Catan, Cass., and a handful of Reiner's games. Thanks ahead of time.
