Seriously, how does PNJ Inc. shoot their new games up the charts into the top 25 everytime? Their games are complete trash and are always rated 5 stars a day after release. First it was Extreme Fishing, then Eternity-Garden of Heaven, and now it's Knight Attack, which is already number 21 on the paid charts. They figured out how to play the charts. Too bad it only lasts for two days at most before they disappear off the top 200 forever. Not to mention, the drops to a sub-three star rating as well. But, they do get the initial sales boost from having a high position on the charts..
ok thx So I'm getting Plunderland Swords and Soldiers Reckless getaway and Peggle Anybody other suggestions?
Didn't App Store charts change to some kind of activity thing. So if they rate their game enough the game goes up on charts? If that's not how it works then I misunderstood, but if yes, then anyone could cheat on the top 25 easily. With crappy games, and I think that happened before...
So I just got back from summer camp staff, and I've missed the majority of releases from June-July. What are some notable games and/or hidden gems I should pickup?
Well you just got back in time for this weeks awesome releases which you can find here at triggys thread:http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=101865 Also judging by your signature youll love this thread I made called TOFTA:http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=101867 Heres a list: Gesundheit-Puzzler 0.99 Intro sale Groove Coaster-Rythmyn game 0.99 9mm-Gameloft FPS 6.99 Cordy-Platformer 1.99 Qvoid-0.99 Puzzler Guardian Saga- Classic RPG 1.99 Dream Track Nation-0.99 Racing and Level Editor type game. Um, •Deadlock (is pretty good) •Waterslide 2 (is alright) •Groove Coaster (bought it, haven't tried it) •Gesundheit (bought it, haven't played it) •9mm (just started it recently, it's pretty good. Haven't tried multiplayer) •Roboto (is pretty good, haven't finished it. It's a little bit of a easier platformer I guess. I like easier ones more. lol) •Hungribles (It's a different kind of game, it's pretty good.) •Deathsmiles (I bought it, but haven't tried it yet. It should be a pretty good one. I got it at $4.99. It's $11.99 now. Don't get it, unless you really want it I guess. lol) •Amazing Breaker (More of a hidden gem I guess, it's a good game too) •Puzzle Agent 2 (Would be good once the update comes out, so I can play it without the audio skipping. ) •Hard Lines (I guess is a good game, I haven't tried it yet. It was free the other day, I don't know if it still is.) •QuBIT (It's alright. lol Was free the other day too. It might still be.) •Cordy (Another platformer game I haven't tried yet) •Street Fighter 4 Volt (I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not too good at the street fighter games. I'd rather play Mortal Kombat, but this has multiplayer now.) •Sword & Soldiers (It's supposed to be good, I haven't tried it.) •Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (Probably the best kart racer for iPhone. If you want a pretty cool online one you can get this.) I don't try everything. And I might have missed a few I liked and can't remember when they came out. lol
Guardian Saga is essential; if you're anyone who ever attempted to play any sort of RPG style game then you owe it to yourself to download Guardian Saga immediately. You'll likely not find a better value per dollar. If you're been at Summer Camp for months forget everything else and get Guardian Saga.
Hell yes. This week will be the first in a LONG, LONG time (as in, all the way back when Feed Me Oil was released) where there'll be a must-buy release for me: Cut the Rope 2! As for Bug Heroes Quest, I see a lot of people really wanting it, but the first game left bad impressions for me. There was no local leaderboards, games tended to last hours which meant there needed to be constant saves before a game could be completed, and usually I would lose track of what I was focusing when I returned to a save game. In addition, the iAPs really killed it for me who was just learning to try out the game, since there was already a ton of options, and then the iAP just confused me more.
I agree with you, when you say you didn't like bug heroes. I didn't either. And I'll have to agree with you in getting Cut The Rope 2. That's coming out this week? I didn't even know. I read the article on it that Cut The Rope retweeted. I think I'll like it more with a story to it. I thought the comics weren't coming out until the end of august? I'm confused though, are the comics being used to tell the story in Cut The Rope 2? Or is it a seperate app coming out?
The sequel to Cut the Rope 2 is coming this Thursday, August 4th. It's been confirmed by multiple, RELIABLE sources.
The guy a few posts above does bring up a good point. With the release of Cut The Rope: Experiments will it be a game? Or could it just be the comic book. Or maybe it's both? What ever it is i will be buying it as i was a fan of this game before it became "Big". Long came the good ol days when Zeptolab used TA. Same goes for Rovio. Seams that after a developer goes big they drop TA.
I meant more as in one game pony's. Plus Com2Us have a huge team. Im sure they have many people that use their TA Profile.....
Best game release night I ever attended! Shift 2, Cut The Rope Experiments, Emberwind, Kickin Momma, Temple Run and many more! IM BROKE SOON!
Well, after taking a detailed look at most of the more notable games to come out tonight, I'm only going to purchase Cut the Rope 2 come tomorrow morning. 2011 has truly been a slow iOS purchase year for me. EDIT: Wow, I totally forgot about FFT until I saw the thread. Then I clicked it, and saw the file size, and then the price, and I'm still at one purchase for tomorrow...
