Omg, FFT and Bug Heroes Quest for next week's releases plus who knows what else. August is looking to be a crazy month for releases with all of the announcements thus far. Can't wait. ----- By the way, an awesome update for Disc Drivin' was just released: 3 new tracks and a new obstacle. It's my most-played game everyday, so if you have access to the internet, seriously do yourself a favor and get the game already. It's a favorite here on TA, and I have a game currently going with arn, jared, and zincous right now. You can have 20 games going at once, and I'm usually at the limit. Definitely look into it guys. Best asynchronous multiplayer game ever on the iOS. There's pass and play too and local multiplayer.

Tactical Warrior ($3) Furious Tactics, Mecho Wars, great little wargame, UniWar, Conquist2 are $1 each RC Plane 2 is actually very good for a buck. Continuity 2? Dice Soccer Dream Track Nation Push Cars is still free... Magnetic Billiards Blueprint is free, (but you'd need $4 for the skeleton key) EDIT: Qubit, another good game going free!
160 MB. Is Qvoid a good game for a long car ride, or does it suck up a ton of battery??? Also, I'd like to bump my question about Volcano Escape.
I only played it once then deleted it. The jumping mechanic and the wall jump mechanic feel kind of off, and I had some lag on a 4th gen touch (enough to cause deaths). And this is from someone who loves vertical platformer games. The blocks cometh is more than enough for this style though. Edit: I just bought it a few weeks ago as well.
$3...what to get for and 8-hour car ride? I was thinking about: flick rocket, rc plane 2, duck hunt AR or battleheart.
Zombie gunship is also a good game that will keep you busy for quite some time, and from the games listed above I'd say get battleheart.
Yeah, I was gonna say Gunship as well but there just doesn't seem to be enough content for a 8 hr ride. Reckless Getaway is 3 bucks and has loads of good reviews. Check it out.
