Has anyone played any of the Virtual Villager games? Are they any good? I like Karisoft games as well as Tiny tower a lot and this seems similar... are there a lot of IAPs?

    Thanks

They are pretty much singleplayer time-management sims and have no IAPs at all. Though you can FAIL the game due to all your villagers dying out ;). And worst of all, the game can END :(
The good thing is everything you like about time-management is included here: some need to check in the game once in a while, plenty of activities to do in the game (research, producing stuff) and the existence of a story to motivate the gamer.
Highly recommended if you like time-management games.

Friend just bought Chaos Rings Omega and Eternity-Garden of Heaven "on accident" with my account. I let him use it to download games I already have..and he said he thought I had those -_-. There goes $15.13, lol, damnit. Hope he pays me back.

It's just my best friend and my girlfriend that uses it, haha. Well, my mom does too. It's alright that I shell out for them since they're not as big of an iOS fanatic as I am. Just hope the guy goes back to asking before he purchases games over $10 from now on, lol.

If you can, try virtual families. It's probably the same as the game you are talking about but your game can't end and every 60 years (like a week in real time) they die and a new generation of family arrives.

Yea well I enjoyed Undercover a lot on my PC and if it still has those cops, I bet I'll enjoy it too! I kinda enjoy Arcade more as I hate shift on my PC, but loved Underground 2 and Undercover! And most wanted :D

There's just something about RG that isn't as appealing as RR. The graphics seem to be worse for some reason. It's still a good game nonetheless, but it isn't as good as RR.

I'm still looking for impressions over NFS undercover! How's controls, graphics, content and that sort of things. After new and noteworthy comes out, I might buy it as tonight was a bad day for me as I only have a buck left and I wanted Xtreme Wheels!

If it means anything to you, NFS: Undercover is my favorite iOS NFS game. My favorite console NFS is Most Wanted, and this compares favorably to that (aside from the free roam / countryside.) It's not as good looking as Hot Persuit, but more fun IMHO, I prefer the more arcady NFS games (not as arcady as Fast Five or Adrenaline.)

Tilt controls work fine in the game, as do tap/swipe motions. It's been $0.99 before, and will be again, but if I had paid $2.99 for it I wouldn't have been upset.

Thanks :) When I get a refill to my credits, I'll get it! The most tempting part is the file size for me :)

I think what you're looking for is a JRPG with real time battles, right? I think there was one that came out a year or two ago, but I can't remember what it was called. It had the arena based real time battles you're looking for. I tried looking through appshopper for it but couldn't find it.
