If Nintendo isn't bringing Mario Kart to iOS, then I don't mind - though I wish it was a little more original.
I dont mind one bit ! Just hope it makes the app store for a little while, with touch arcade reporting on it it probably doesnt help this games chances though!
Looks like its the only way we are going to get mario kart tracks on iOS, so I'm all for it. Cannot see it making the app store tho as its had too much press now, nintendo will be all over it.
Exactly, very frustrating people did that. Its like iMame, if they mentioned 3 days before hand it would hit the app store i'm sure it would get stopped, mention games like this (emulators or clones) when they hit the app store so everyone can get them in seconds before theyre pulled, not before hand !! I hope somehow this one appears tonight at midnight but after all the press i cant see that happening sadly

i mean if they were gonna clone it, they should have gone all the way and actually called it mario kart. and had all the characters in it. AND release it for free, so that nintendo couldn't sue them too badly. They didn't make any profit if it was free.
If they cloned Mario kart and released it for free nintendo would obviously sue them and it wouldnt be just 'too badly' as you put it. Doesn't matter if it was free it's still nintendos assets/name/copyright etc Shame we'll never see this game though
Yeh Figured that out, just meant how did he get hold of things like that and on his youtube account before anyone else...its a useful talent. And it made it to the store...awesome. But for how long.
