So I've finally been converted with my brand graduation present!
I just got back from orientation and I'm fiddling around with my mac now.
If you have any gaming suggestions or any tips, I'd really appreciate it! Oh, and since I was gone for orientation I've missed some app releases, so leave the titles of any notable apps since last friday. My wallet is a glutton for punishment:)

Hey, congrats! I remember unboxing mine. Good times :p Sadly, there's not much going for the Mac in the games department elsewhere from Steam. Luckily, though, there's literally hundreds of handy apps for stuff that's... not gaming. Here.

Dragon Age works great on the Mac (and is a great game overall). Steam has been having some fantastic sales recently, if you haven't played classics like Half-Life 2. The cool thing is, if you have it for the PC you can download it for the Mac for free.

http://www.direct2drive.com/ has a pretty good selection of mac games but you can find most of them on steam as well

Lucky, i planning to get one as well. For gaming, just use bootcamp and put windows on and you shod be able to play most cool games (mwf2,, crysis) and a decent framrate if the setting are meduim or low.

Crysis on a mac? That seems like trouble.

Will Dragon Age work on high settings or something like that? I plan on getting one myself and frankly, I'm jealous you got a mac.

Kind of ironic. You receive a macbook for college and the first thing you think about is games.

    Don't worry, we're all like that :D

    Half Life 2 is amazing.
