It happens randomly... Sometimes it needs few minutes, sometimes I play hours without disconnections. If I leave the app iPhone is re-connecting immediately, so I think it's not a hardware's problem, but a firmware/API one. Am I wrong? I tried everything: reset network, reboot router, restore iPhone...
We have two in our household and the same thing happens with both: Just random disconnects from the Wi-Fi - not during a game, but usually coming out of and going into a game or coming out of sleep mode. Sometimes I'll go a whole day without a disconnect, and other days, like 4-6 times it disconnects and even requires the password once in a while. I also found that just jumping into my email for a split second then exiting seems to reconnect instantly....weird..
I been having problems with my wifi also, but in a different manner. When connected I have no trouble browsing, using youtube and playing games online but every 30 minutes my ipod touch will just completely drop it's wifi connection and not pick it up again until I return to the springboard, meaning I have to close the app completely. I am yet to figure out the problem and it's driving me nuts, I have tried everything my router allows to be turned on and off but it's still doing it, any idea what causes this problem?
I have two iPods in the house regularly, but when my cousin brings his here, the connection ALWAYS drops...
