Well it might still take a while, since there have been some delays. There is a lot of work involved and we want to make this game as good as we can possibly can. But we will really try to make it worth the wait.
Actually, Kevin Mcleod has some free music on his website, and I used two of his free songs for Captain Ludwig because I thought they fit the game perfectly. For this game I haven't decided what to do yet. I'm a musician myself (check out the music on my other game, Deep, to see what I can do - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cYlf8IexR4), but making quality music takes me a lot of time, so I might be looking for other options.
ah, i see. i really like kevin's music, but we'll have to see. im sure if you asked him nicely enough, he could make some really great music for locks and loaded!
I really love rabbits mate, not sure shooting them is something I could do, even in a game! Ah, I guess I could give it a go
I'm looking for some alpha testers that can help me get the controls just right, and that can help me tweak the performance. I need people with 1gen iPhone, 1gen iPod, 2nd gen iPhone, ... You will get to play one level. There's no shooting yet, but you can kill enemies by stomping on them. No power-ups yet, but there are coins to collect. Please let me know today, I will make an alpha build for you all tomorrow.
I can probably do it, but I have an iPod touch 2G and I won't be able to install the ad hoc as soon as you give it to me tomorrow. My iTunes has been acting up and won't let me sync my iPod at all
I could give it a try, but I have a 3g iPod Touch. I love that Animation though. Have you thought about moving that jump button? I just think it would be hard to hit with it being right next to the Fire button. Maybe take some looks at Doodle Army's set up or other side scrollers. Are you going to make the buttons look more crisp in the final build?
Just sned me your UDID and I will hook you up. I want to test for performance, but also for gameplay and controls, so you can definitely help. For me the controls are fine the way they are, but that's why I need testers, for some other opinions on this. That's up to El Sato (the pixel artist). I think they look fine, but we're open to suggestions on how it could be improved.
Ya, actually I think I was making first glance impressions. Now that I look at those screenshots things look a lot better. I guess I would need to just play it to get a good impression, haha
This game just looks soooooooooooooooooo morbid! BUT I LIKE IT. BLOW THOSE BUNNIES UP! Insta-buy for me.
I need some opinions. The game will have unlimited lives, but it keeps track of how many times you died. You can collect coins along the way (actuallym they're small buttons). You can also collect two hidden stars in each level, and a third by killing all enemies. But I need to give both the coins and the stars a purpose besides increasing your score. Extra lives isn't an option (unlimited lives). One option is a weapons and ammo store. But I could use some other suggestions. Even if it's silly, it might give me a good idea. Thanks!
