Every review I read in the AppStore is crap. Is America really that illiterate? Feel free to post the funniest serious reviews you have read!:D

Just you wait, 20 years from now, speaking will have become abbreviated. The official language will by acronymish, and the LOL clan shall rise!

You can't judge America by 10-12 year old kids reviewing stuff.

True. Every once in a while, there is a shining example which rises above the mire of surrounding 10-word reviews. But, there are not enough. However, if you look outside of games, there are a number of good reviews, though they too are among a load of dross.

Write a paragraph or two on these boards, which take no more than a minute, if that, to write, and should take less to read, and get some responses about "essays".

So what do you expect on the App Store?

We've become a dumbed down society of dullards tweeting and texting uber short statements. And while "short and sweet" is a nice ideal to uphold, the fact is that often the texts, tweets, and board postings (although the latter is to a much lower extent, thank goodness, although we can see it creeping in every now and again) don't really give any valuable info or opinions. People are stating things without actually stating anything at all.

Expand on an idea, or go into detail about the information or opinion provided, and prepare to be flooded with asinine responses. I wonder how many App Store consumers actually read the game descriptions instead of just looking at the pretty pictures? How many turn their noses up at Big Albie's reviews on the App Store because they're more than one sentence consisting of "yeah d00dz this gaem r0x0rs!"?

Woops. I went on too long with the post. Now barely anyone will read it.

The way it is going right now, we will be speaking Spanish!

True, but 10-12 year olds (and younger) make up the future USA.

I would like to know an average age of an iDevise user.
I thought that most people would be in their mid 20s. How many 10-12 year olds can actually afford an iPhone or iPod Touch. Unless the prices for Australian customers have been inflated.
