hmm well I don't have anything against them, the law proposed isn't perfect but I don't think the governor of Arizona = all republicans. There is a lot of crime going on in that state from immigrants...and drugs being smuggled in. Once again its not one=all. You liberals think that because one nut goes into a shopping mall and shoots 3 people that gives you an excuse to take EVERYONE ELSE'S guns away. As if thats a solution? The one nut= everbody? Thats the way you wanna work it.
I think its actually the conservatives that assume that one person goes crazy (terrorist) and kills a bunch of people and that represents all Muslims. Calling someone a Muslim is like a good insult to conservatives. And to add to the irony, only Hillary Clinton wants to take away guns, not all liberals. Almost all liberals want to make it more difficult for someone to get a gun, not take away the right to bear arms.

Just to clear some things up, and I know i've posted this before, fascism is a conservative ideal, totalitarian government etc. Communism/ Marxism is a liberal ideal, less government etc, and to go even further, Anarchy, which is no government at all. So basically republicans are says that Obama is a conservative. Just wanted to clear that up.
Its an immigration law that the Arizona governor made, not me. If it was up to me I wouldn't have passed any immigration law. But I don't agree with it or disagree with it, they are having big problems down there with drug smuggling and other crime, most of which has nothing to do with guns.
That is how it started out, but it is not true in today's age. The roles have reversed in a way. The liberal has become the "progressive" movement over the years, a term they try to use to imply that all the new laws they pass taking away people's freedoms are progress to make their agenda sound better. Conservatives mean exactly how it sounds now, relaxed, less likely to pass any new domestic laws without strong facts or logic.
Yeah Communism is a totalitarian government, because Lenin promoted Communism which is now called Marxism... It all gets pretty confusing but Communism was an ideal that there was a minimal government, and everything was run by the people, but Lenin skewed everything so it became a totalitarian government. So Marxism is the original Communism, while Communism is more like Fascism without the nationalism... Sorry everything is so complicated, but it's a complicated subject.

Police? There is 1 police officer for every 3200 citizens. I'm sure glad I own guns in case I run into this Leatherface guy or if he tries to break into my house. Probably wouldn't even have to use it, just show it to him and he'd run. Now thats a crime deterrent. Dave, here's who my references were from when I applied for my permit. 1 police officer(could've had more) 1 member of the National Guard, and 1 from my boss at the time, all of which who disagree with your philosophy of more control.
I agree, people that can legally handle a gun should own them for protection. My philosophy on guns is that they should be regulated like cars. They should be taxed, registered, and people should have to get a shooting license. Still waiting for your answer on which of the US state gun laws you disagree with.
Registration only leads to confiscation. Other than that there is no point to it other than to use it to tax people and spy on them. With registration in place the country would be only one anti-gun Clinton/Obama president away from a Gustapo raid order. Honestly, this is the motive that most people believe is the true reason why the gun haters asking for registration want it, and thats why its not gonna happen.
