All i have to say is that Avatar was amazing (really cool in 3d) and if you're reading this thread and haven't seen it you should go. Cool language too.
Yes, it is, and yes, it was. And to all the people saying that we should have used an endangered language, where's the originality in that? Creating an alien language takes skill, and since he didn't use another language, it made it harder.
I tried learning French for 3 years and failed big time, i don't think i coud learn Na'vi and i wouldn't want to.
I am taking Spanish 4, and let me tell you, Na'vi is waaaay easier than Spanish or any other terra language.
The more you use that to insult people the more likely you are to get modded for it. Good job on Wikipedia. ...and yes, I would get a kick out of it. I think we all would, you could be the next Star Wars kid.
I actually picked up skxawng from the movie. You should watch it some time. I have nothing to lose then, do I?
Alright, the "Fiskxawngìri tsapalute sengi oe" part from the other topic then. Unless you just happened to construct one of the few full sentences on Wikipedia all by yourself. I've got tickets to see it on Jan 25th, I don't think I'll walk away with a passion to learn the language though...
It was there. I can construct a few sentences, but they aren't insulting at all. And that passion came after seeing the movie twice
I do actually plan to buy it on Blu-ray as soon as it's available... if I suddenly get the urge to learn it I'll make a public apology
I don't want you to. It's not a big deal, really. But it really is a beautiful language, and because of that, I wanted to learn it.
Skipper, this may be odd but can you teach me a bit? It sounds interesting and it will piss off all my friends .
