Freemium stuff;- Yeah it does have ads, but they are optional and only last for 5 seconds and they give skill points which you also get through gameplay. There are also iap’s for said skill points but they can be ignored because for example; 60 skill points cost $1.49AUD whereas watching a 5 second ad gives you 50 skill points. When you die you still get to keep any skill points you obtained. There is also a small banner ad at the top of the non battle screen but most time is spent in the dungeons where there is no such ad. There are 3 or 4 floors to each small dungeon and each run takes about 5 minutes. You get equipment from chests and drops. You lose those when you die but the game is designed in a way that restarting and getting new equipment is all part of the fun of the game. The skill points you acquire allow you to choose skills and each new character will get some sort of benefit from those skills so there is a definite feeling of progression. There are different character types and all play uniquely due to the large number of skills and abilities they can get. Normally I would shy away from this sort of free game that comes with ads, but they are optional and only last a short time anyway. It is surprisingly quite addictive and is enjoyable in short or long bursts. The dev has another couple of similar games in the AppStore but this is his latest game and by far the most polished and complete game. I have no idea whats going on and the developers site is all in Chinese, I think. It is mentioned in the description details above that the release date was 2018 so I doubt it would be a soft launch. The Buy button above does link to the Australian AppStore, because that’s where I live. I also just typed “Last Rogue” in the Search and it found it. You could make an Aussie account to access the game as a last resort I guess. You don’t need to make any purchases, as I mentioned above, to completely enjoy the game. You could try searching for BattleDNA2 - Idle RPG or Last Explorer as they are his other two games, and might show this game in the “More By” list. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
