I see that the price of the game is 0.99$ now. So, I'm late.

I was very torn about whether to include left/right buttons. I eventually decided against it because I REALLY wanted to have the sprint mechanic, and some level designs I wanted to do would be impossible to beat if you couldn't sprint/hold jump/shoot simultaneously (which you can't if the jump and sprint/shoot buttons are both on the right); it would literally be an inferior control scheme. I could have made sprinting automatic with the left/right scheme, but then there'd be no slowdown penalty for throwing rocks, which makes the original scheme inferior (which is additionally bad because I wanted speedruns to be competitive, and I wanted to reward people for NOT throwing rocks). Plus I just liked the elegance of not having on screen buttons.

So all that said, the sequel is doing away with the sprint mechanic, which opens the door for left/right buttons (in addition to the original two-button scheme). There will also be PC/Mac versions (and hopefully others...) which will control like a classic platformer.

don't worry if it looks great buy it or on a budget wait as its gone FREE 3 time already within 1 year.
