WHAT?! Go out to the movies right now. It is seriously, the most offensive, violent, hilarious movie I have ever seen. Kick Ass > Hangover and I loved Hangover.
Holy crap. He is incredible. I used to hate him. Now, I love him. Just go see it. Then you'll know why I said that.
Yeah, a Rated "R" teenflik... I watched it the day it came out... Didn't think it was TOO great, but it was definitely entertaining. No where near as funny as the Hangover though... Outside of comedy and great story, it had everything else, so that's good.
A) The main reason for it's R rating is some people had a problem with the super hero girl character being too violent for her age, and might give children the wrong idea. B) Ratings are given AFTER the movie is completed. So it has no implication on the film-maker's intended target audience. Not to mention that the R rating would only serve to make it even more appealing to a teen audience... Ratings are a joke these days anyway.
Ratings are ridiculous but it's definitely worthy of a 15 (England) And that comment makes you look like what, a genius? It's really good, some brilliant action scenes, and one absolutely amazing one (the blinking light scene). Good characters which you get to know well and doesn't try and fit too much in. Plus the love interest is tres beau
i think characters costume looks very ridiculous. but overall most of the viewer are teenagers so they dont matter.....and i think this movie will make something around 130-150 millions $. Mature people go to Clash of the Titans
Wait, was the clash of the titans thing a joke? I can't really tell, if it isn't...I swear it's for kids and it has terrible reviews
I read the comic, haven't had a chance to see the movie though. Judging though from scenes I saw in commercials and scenes I read in the comis (the alleyway scene where he meets up with Red Mist for example) the movie looks pretty toned down, not saying it's totally toned down though.
Firstly this a really hard movie/set of charcaters to port to the big screen, give them some credit. Secondly, he's supposed to look like an idiot.
I love how honest the movie is though. Like in the beginning, when he's describing his life, it's not like a disney movie. It's just an average kid, y'know? Also, the action scenes felt SO much more intense then other movies. Btw, if you see the movie, you'll know why it deserves an R-rating. It's not just the girl.
