Hm, got the gift e-mail, but when I click redeem now it keeps saying in iTunes that there is an error, anyone else having this problem?
Same error here. A message saying about an unknown error in iTunes Store. Maybe they're making the codes available on the Store as we speaking, infact the error message also tells to retry later.
I'm trying everyhing i can to redeem the game... Maybe the guys at Revolutionary Concepts can give us some advice (and i thank you in advance for helping us guys!)
Thanks for code! I have the same problem trying to redeem it though. I even grabbed the code out of the email source and tried to enter it into the redeem section of iTunes and I just get the error below. I am not too concerned. I will try it again tonight and tomorrow. "The iTunes Store could not process your request. Please try again later."
I'm quite sure the devs are "preparing" the codes on the Store for us to get 'em, that could explain the "retry later" message, but obviously it's my personal opinion.
I've gotten this same issue twice now for 2 different apps that have been sent like this. Click on the link and get an "unknown error 5002" or try the code directly and get the "try again later" error. I just sent an email to apple support today regarding this problem because one was sent to me a week ago and I still can't redeem it.

iTunes Redemption Hi Guys, This is a bit disappointing to be sure We're as much in the dark as you guys. When 'gifting' apps we do so as a consumer like you. 1. Enter emails of those we are buying for. 2. iTunes confirms our purchase. 3. iTunes sends email Gift Cards. It's not in any way linked to our developer account or requires any jiggery pokery on our part. Once iTunes accepts our purchase and sends out redeem codes it should work We followed the same process for our Gizmodo giveaway and thankfully it went off without a hitch. It sounds like this is iTunes related - could just be a glitch in the matrix we are googling our hearts out to see what might be the cause. Please if anyone is able to redeem let us all know, and hopefully it will be resolved soon. Sorry for the hold-up guys.

Yeah, I really hope something helpful comes back from my support ticket to apple...but haven't gotten a reply email from them yet . I have no problem redeeming just promo codes, but when they are these "gifted promos" I haven't been able to redeem them.
Just thought I'd pop in and say that it's definitely an issue on apple's end. On friday I was giving away Indie games on twitter (Karate Champ was one of them) and in the middle of the contest iTunes refused to let me buy gift codes! I can buy things for myself but if I try to buy a code to gift it says my card is declined and I get a weird error. I sent an email to Apple support and 36 hours later I was told that they made a request for additional support. After some searching it seems these issues are really rare but there are still quite a few people that can't buy gift codes or redeem them
Hi Guys, Really appreciating everyones patience. *That's why we wanted to give you guys the codes TA forum members are the best! We haven't advertised or tweeted it - it's literally just something to say thanks. All I can tell you is the codes are good! Bought, paid for and issued by Apple (not us). We'll just have to wait for Apple to fix whatever is goin on. Thanks again. Now back to waiting for FROGMAN - submitted last night!
