You said yourself that it's not a competition so why are you trying to outdo him with your own statement and then proceeding to quote and bold your own post? He was answering a question to prove you wrong since you tried to undermine everyone else with your assumption.
I can't wait for Grand Prix Story. It looks like a lot of fun to play. Kairosoft games are the only games I've ever payed full price for on the app store (except .99 games).

Sorry xVietx if you don't understand, but not everyone speaks perfect english on the net, or speaks enlgish as their first language. I thought a Viet person would understand that, I assume wrong. EDIT: my whole premise was that the games are similar and that KS can be played in different ways. just because one person strives for 'x' objective, doesn't mean others play for the same objective. Obviously if they are worried about score and making tough decisions, the in-game time is certainly a factor. On the other hand for me, GDS and HSS were never about the time factor or score.

I've only played it for a few hours, but so far it's very different from Hot Spring Stories. I'm actually have a hard time not overspending. And the different maps you can choose to start with is new too. Edit: It seems to be more challenging then their other games because you have to balance the budget more. You spend money to improve the school and the grades of students, this makes it more attractive to incoming students. You can't spend too much though because of maintenance costs, and you only get most of your money back from tuition and that only comes every month I think. There are other sources of revenue, but tuition is the only major recurring one. I'm liking it so far. It is a very deep sim.
I agree I like the fact that it is so much harder right now to keep money. GDS and HSS were always too easy to get money. You have to really think before you spend in this game, makes it more strategic.
