I highly recommend Metal Gear Solid 4. But only if you've played the other three. (OKAY read your other post. Fellow MGS fan. ) Also, Fat Princess and Little Big Planet. MAG too, whenever it comes out.
Burnout Paradise and also get the Big Surf Island dlc. Battlefield 1943. Online only, great fun. SOCOM Confrontation Hot Shots Golf. Ignore the cutesy look, it's a very good golf game. Otherwise head to te store and download lots of demos.

Infamous is fantastic, and there is an iron sight in 1943 which is also a great game especially for the price. It starts to lose its fun since there are only 3 maps but i think the three class system is perfect. And check out uncharted 2 coming out this tuesday its the second highest rated game this generation there is a multiplayer demo out now it ends on tuesday so download it and play it while you can. Every other MGS > MGS4 if you ask me. Hanging from ledges, crouching behind crates, slinking into shadows... that's all stealth. MGS4 doesn't do that. You put on a floor-coloured suit, lie 3 feet in front of the enemy in broad daylight where you're obviously 100% visible... and act as though you're hidden. It totally killed everything that made the other games fun for me. The story is still as tight and epic as ever, and it's a good looking game, but the gameplay is dead in my eyes. Infamous is incredibly repetitive, Prototype is similar and although I actually got bored of both games before finishing them, I'd say Prototype is probably superior in every way. Games you shouldn't miss: Uncharted (Uncharted 2 is due very soon, you could go straight into that one quite happily), Little Big Planet, Ninja Gaiden Sigma (or Sigma 2, recently released), Resident Evil 5, Rock Band 2 (unless you're a GH fan, then go die ), Fallout 3, Dead Space, Bioshock, Batman Arkham Asylum, Demon's Souls and Burnout Paradise. Some of those are multi-platform so if you own a PC/360 you might want to do some comparisons first. haha ok, i forgot about prototype i was gonna get that when i was into my brother 360 but i never got to it, should i get that or infamous? Thanks midiangtx and robert for the suggestions.
Did I misread or did no one say uncharted 2. I played the demo at my friends place and it was amazing yet still no MW2. It's one of the main reasons I am switching back to sony.
In a nutshell, Prototype = Infamous + skills/moves/combos + chaos + gameplay elements + fun. Infamous isn't really bad, it's just that Prototype has all the same stuff, plus loads more. ...and yes skyye06, I mentioned Uncharted 2 I'm not too into the multiplayer side of it, but the first game's single player was incredible and this one looks to be even better.
I said it on the page before . Def get arkham asylum awesome game and littlebigplanet. And infamous didn't get repetitive I didn't think you keep getting new powers which keeps the game exciting. The gameplay is super smooth and it's really a blast to play. Those are a great 3 to look at plus uncharted 2 and you're set for a while
Yeah I got most of the powers in Infamous, but they're mostly variations on the same thing. Most of the game involves nothing more than zapping... I think I had the majority of the powers with only 1/3 of the game complete, and already I was bored of searching for those shards and dishes n' whatnot.
@ robert and midian, I see it now as before I just skimmed through it real quick. BC142 are you into multiplayer because if you are dl the beta for uncharted 2(don;t own a ps3 but I'm pretty sure you can) and wait for modern warfare 2as they will pay you back in the money you spent by the hours you will play them. Also brutal legend is one to look for.
So as of right now i know im getting: MW2 and uncharted 1 and 2 i also think im going to get: infamous or prototype (mostly leaning towards prototype), littlebigplanet, and red faction another question i have is do you like level up in prototype and infamous, from what im reading here i think you do but i want to be sure? also do you level up in uncharted and how? also is red faction any good? ive heard it is but no one has metioned it
Okay out of the three you must get little big planet (how could I forget) one of my favorite games that I don't own.
Yeah if you play online there's no reason not to get MW2, I think the chances of it being the most popular online game on both PS3 and 360 are about 99%. The fanbase is already gargantuan. You level up in both Infamous and Prototype... collecting xp to unlock new powers/abilities and raise stats. Oh, and you level up in Uncharted 2 multiplayer, but not single player.
