idk, here are a few ideas:

    1. "Reverse Defence" in this mode, the buttons try to move across the screen. it's your job to stop them.

    2. "Simon Says" in this mode, a specific button color is displayed in the middle of the screen. if you press the wrong color, you are out.

    3. "Fastest Tapper" in this mode, your goal is to tap 10 buttons before your opponent does. if you tap the background, it takes away one from your score.

    tell me what you think!

The stuff you've done with ths game is amazing! When iciest posted I wasn't really that interested but I wanted to help you out and keep the topic bumped, now, I am extremely surprised! You are probably one of the best single developers I have seen so far. Because the fact this game is extremely polished is awesome, but you take suggestions and did this all in about 5 days!

    Trop cool/So cool!
Its the very essence of Wario Ware games i think.

    few ideas:

    fading/scaling button:
player have to tap the button at the very last frame of the button , i.e. if the button is scaling smaller, he have to tap it just before it is too small. The stress is that if you tap too soon you have the security of not taping the background but the other player can win some bonus time if he tap later.

blinking button: button goes on and off

    rounds speed system:
option to setup number of rounds, every new round is speed than the other.

    Mix:
Instead or in option of game mode i think that it ll be funnier if all game mode are mixing within the rounds: simple button/moving/other/etc/etc.
Its add the fact that, like in WarioWare, the players have to analyze in wich game mode they are. (it could be asymmetric too, one player got the moving while other got the simple).

    Good luck and good job!

Thanks for your kind words guys! :)

I have something very similar in mind for the 4th game mode.

    That's too much love ;)
    Thanks!

I like that. I just need something to tell the user the button will disappear in X ms.

Multiple rounds would be interesting but maybe too much complicated for the time I have left... Maybe for a DELUXE version of the game...

I already thought of that but it may introduce too much difficulty differences for players. Maybe when I'll have 8 or more game modes to mix with.

Remember guys, the game must be dead simple : you see a button, you push it. That's the idea.

Tonight I worked on the 4th game mode "Chase" (1st part of the video) and on the 4 players mode (2nd part of the video).

Tomorow (or later this weekend) I will work on the last bits, I really want to submit the game before going into vacations. :D

    ^^^

    Busted link.

    EDIT: NVM

DOUBLE EDIT: Wow! Dude, something freaky happened in that video. If you look at the beginning, the black screen reflects something that looks like the wooden bar right next to the iPod, so I thought that it was the bottom of the iPod, when the little green cube rolled down, it looked like it was coming off the iPod!

TRIPLE EDIT: Geez, someone else needs to post... anyways, I liked the '3,2,1' the way it was before, red with white border because it adds a bit of color to the game... I also liked the way the menu was set up before with the different 'buttons' instead of just the names of the mode and player number.

That's interesting. The problem is that it was the countdown textures of our first iPhone game (Penguins Invasion), it has absolutely not the same style as this one. I'll see if I have some time re-doing them.

In fact I can't let the buttons the way they was before, it's the default buttons style from Unity3D and they don't look good with the typo I had chosen. I wanted to redo them but I'm pretty sure it'll not be for the first release of the game. :(

    Just a Button is done.
I'll submit it to Apple tomorrow.
    It'll be released for free.

I'll make a new video this weekend.
Thanks for your support guys, your inputs were very valuable for me!

If the game get traction I'll make a DELUXE version with more modes and more content.

Doing an iPhone game in 7 days (nights in my case) is possible, but it's a bit tiring ;)
