Does anyone know if this might have a shot at making it to US App Store on iOS? I believe it's coming out on 3DS on Sept 16th. I'm torn between playing it on 3DS or iOS... I've got V, VI, VIII on iOS and still haven't played them through.
There is still no word on it being released outside of the Japan App Store I finally gave up since I had 1-6&8 and I bought it through the Japan App Store It's a great game and probably my favorite of the 8 that are on the App Store but VIII itself is great too Square chances are won't announce it ahead of time it will just happen one day that's possible If and when that happens I will probably buy it again and not in any way feel cheated considering how awesome that game is!
They might release it They will release the ENglish version on 3ds mid september... I already preordered fo that

It's an odd coincidence that this thread was created exactly one year before the U.S. 3DS release date for Dragon Quest 7. I'm ready to go pick my pre-order up Friday, here's hoping Square Enix decides to release it worldwide Friday on iOS. Either way I'll be playing this gem again Friday, I'm ready to sink another couple hundred hours into this game again.
English version would be nice I have enjoyed the Japanese version for last 6 'months For me personally this is my fav in the series I haven't however played anything past VIII I also think before the week ends we will get the English version but maybe that's crazy talk we will see

I imagine Nintendo have some kind of exclusivity lock on the English language release for a while. Hopefully no more than six months...
It never dawned on me that def could be why we haven't got it yet cuz it's been out in Japan App Store for a while and to me it's the best DQ on iOS and I own everyone of them
Doubt its ever coming to ios for NA since... It just released today on 3ds...and lemme tell ya...BEST DRAGON QUEST ever...seriously...and imho...prolly best played on 3ds with options to enhance 3d effects ..dude...i played it 11 straight hrs from midnight release lol...get it now..its worth buying a 3ds for if its the only 3ds game u ever play...well...if ur a huge DQ nerd like I am neway#
Ooh ooh...ALLLLSOOOO DQ 8 releasing on 3ds also lol...i can almost only barely imagine 8 on the 3ds...meh..ill prolly still be playing 7...8 was prolly my least fav....good lord have u seen the screen for Eleven?! /Droooooool. =/. Prolly not till end of 2017 tho
