Soon we will release a new music app called "Jelly Band" with the JD soundtracks and more fresh stuff. Stay tuned!
I am also stuck on this mission, after literally spending days trying to complete it. I just can't beat the final jelly, I simply don't have enough firepower to destroy it. I have maxed out red towers at the start as it comes down and have even tried taking those down and rebuilding them at the end once it has passed out of range. Unfortunately this level has somewhat spoiled the game for me and I've given up with the game completely. Would be interested to hear from the game designers a strategy to beat this level.
Guys would it help if i would create a HD Gameplay Video Walkthrough for each Mission? (Gold) What iDevices and what Firmware are you using? Is your iDevice Jailbroken?
New Jelly Defense update hits the App Store! Should be much more easier now Let us know guys what you think. Below full list of improvements: - option to turn off sfx & music - a few tweaks for some levels - better game balance - improved coin collecting - easy mode for casual players (will be enabled after 5th defeat in a row on the same level.) - a speed up button - improved performance P.S Special greetings goes to i010011010 and Echoseven your feedback was crucial when we decided to improve the coin collecting. Thanks!
I'm NEVER updating another Infinite Dreams game again... as well as NEVER supporting them with another release in the future. They've thrown iAds into their paid game, Shoot The Birds, with their latest update, saying it was "Small Improvements" - and adding "A huge THANK YOU to all you Shoot the Birds fans for great support. You are the best! Your 5-star iTunes ratings and reviews keep us motivated to provide you new content with future updates! Thank you for playing Shoot The Birds." - saying "thank you" by throwing ads into a game people have bought? How long before Jelly Defense gets the iAd update? Is the "few tweaks" or "improved performance" really the addition of Ads? They've lost more than a couple supporters with this move... Nice job ID!
Great. Just tell me there are no iAds or other Ads in this update. Staying on the old version till this is answered.
Take it easy man. Ads should be visible only for new users. Old users which bought the game shouldn’t have any advertisement inside, even if they update the game now.
? Devs wheres the cloud saving between multiple devices at? I dont want to start over on my ipad when I have a good save on my phone.
Actually the videos are almost completed (2 more levels to go) and will be posted on demand in our support thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=1963697 but we greatly appreciate the offer. The videos are all from 1.06 version, released today. There are some changes to the game balance, so the videos aren't 100% compatible with earlier versions of the game. Thanks for playing and good luck!
I was really excited when I finally saw the update made available last night, but so far I have to say I'm disappointed. The easier setting for levels is not optional but only something that comes into effect after five failed attempts of a level. What if someone wants to keep trying - is that option available? I fail to notice how the coin collection system has improved. And I was hoping minor bugs would be fixed: I have this problem where I earn achievements (the little pop-ups appear and let me know which ones I just got) but when I check out my achievements in Game Center, they are not there. Only three appear and not the other ones. Grrr... After the update, this problem still persists. Any fixes coming our way? Please.
Nothing stops you from trying to beat the level on the normal difficulty. As has been mentioned - this is an option. The game won't force you to play on the easy mode, merely ask if you would like to. The coin collecting system did get improved. I must say I'm a bit surprised you didn't notice You can now collect coins just by swiping your finger through the screen, no need to tap the individual coins anymore. As for the bug with achievements - we are working on it, but since it involves something more than just our own code, it needs just that little more time.
Wow, thanks for the quick reply. Very much appreciated. I didn't try swiping for the coins - I wasn't sure how the new system worked. And it's very nice to know that one has the option for difficulty settings, though it still seems a little peculiar that one cannot choose this from the outset and has to fail five times to earn this setting. As for the achievements error, I understand that it involves more than just your game code, and it is comforting just to know that you guys are aware of the issue.
i guess in a way it's admirable that you're sticking to your guns and "forcing" people to play levels at the default difficulty for 5 tries before letting them get the easier difficulty. it's like making them take the medicine before they get candy. but if you want more 5 star ratings, you should give the customer what they want. kids and casual gamers can have short attention spans. i don't think they would understand why they can't just start levels at Easy from the beginning. you should be aiming your product at the mass market, not just niche hardcore gamers. if this were a TD aimed at mature players this wouldn't even be an issue for me. Geodefense had some really hard levels but i didn't care.
