50000billion , infact i sold microsoft to bill gates just for enough money to buy apps. Lol but seriously i don't believe these $200+ guys. I am in denial and i do not believe anyone would have so little of a life thye would actually spend over $100 on apps. Maybe $20 for me?
Haha seriously, I'm over 2 grand. Maybe tomorrow I'll get motivated and post screen shots of my current collection as proof. I never wait for sales and spend 200 dollars a month on average. Sometimes a lot more and sometimes a little less. Most games I buy are 5 dollars plus.
He actually has only purchased one app - Aqua Globs, and then promptly sent the developer $7258.14....
It's easy enough to get over the $1000 mark, and once you've done that, $2000 doesn't seem quite as crazy. The AppStore has been around for 20 months, so $2000 is $100 a month, or $25 a week. $25 a week is less than many people spend on coffee or booze or gasoline or parking or cigarettes or mobile phone minutes or movies or music ... you get the point. I get pretty much everything that interests me because everything is so cheap. I feel the same way about XBLA, PSN, DSiwareand WiiWare but since those things aren't always in my pocket, they don't seem like as good a value. On the app store, there's always something worthwhile coming out, the apps are easy to buy, store, and back up. I like the idea of supporting the independent developers, and at around $5 a pop for a new game, why shouldn't I? I will say that once you have more apps than phone space it gets a little silly. I have dozens of apps that are on my computer that will probably never get loaded again, but they were fun and worth the small price I paid.
I've probably spent somewhere in the ballpark of $200-$300. I wasn't aware that there was $1,000+ worth of good apps on the store
exactly how i feel! if someone spends over 1000 dollars, they are 1. buying all apps at standard price 2. buying a crap load of crap 3. have an addiction anything else?
I have spent around $2000. $30 per week. I still have 2000 games in iTunes. It would take $33,584 to buy all the games in the store http://148apps.biz/app-store-metrics/?mpage=appprice
