My iPhone 4 works great for the most part but I realized last week that I couldn't make any calls when I take my bumper off! It's probably because I'm a lefty and held it a certain way that covers up the antenna. This was right before the issues became widespread over the web. It's a shame that I can't find a good smartphone alternative because Apple has really polished the iOS UI. I've been using Smartphones/PDA phones since the Sidekick 2 days and most of them have been absolutely clunky horrible to use but I just stuck with it. Right now I think the Android handsets are 2nd best (minus the app market experience) but to me the UI still feels very technical and a bit unpolished so it will still probably be a while before I move beyond just owning iPhone handsets.

That looks better than I thought it would. Still no replacement for the sexy nekkid design, but not bad. Ice cream sandwich, whitewalls, penguin, tuxedo.
I like how it rounds the edges of the port on the bottom. I can't stand how sharp the edges are on the older iPhones.

Well you pay for the phone to actually be made out of wood, not for the case, but yeah it's still expensive anyway Where are you getting your iPhone 4 from, btw? I just received an e-mail from O2 telling me that they are getting more in stock this Friday and Saturday. If I'm lucky I might be able to get one too
I should have it by tomorrow? Hopefully, in worse news I just got a call from the manager/supervisor I spoke to yesterday and he had to cancel my free bumper case!!! He wouldn't say why, only that he can't do it... What sucks even worse is I recieved an email confirmation and everything!!! In return he said he could offer me a free docking station, which I don't really want because those NEVER work with 3rd party case designs and I don't have much of a need for it really, so Ive gone from happy to sad to happy now back to sad... If I get my BRAND NEW phone, I'm guessing I'll go back to happy... Probably not the best site to say this but F@CK YOU APPLE!!!
I really like the look of the green bumper on the black iPhone, but on the other hand I'm not sure how I'd feel using that in public. The white on black looks great too, so I'll probably go with that. Oh, and here is a website that has pictures of all of them. @LBG. I've got to admit the wooden phone thing is bloody sweet, but not good if you live in a damp city like Swansea! O2 told me in store today that Saturday they were getting some in most stores, not sure about tomorrow though! @Brian. I'm thinking you'll be lucky this third time. Sucks about the bumper though. ;( @crunc. I think the best three are White, Black and Blue. Never really been a fan of neon colours on my phone (even though I'm a huge neon junkie for everything else). Regarding your headphone question, here is what I found from Eurogamer forums... "oh had an issue with my bumper this morning, discovered my sennheiser headphones wont fit in the hole. wondering whether to risk trying to open the hole up a bit more but might ruin the bumper."
While I would like to remain optimisitc, this entire process has made me very pessimistic and I'm half expecting another refurb or the wrong model... And I'm pretty deflated about the bumper swap to a dock... I told the supervisor I had no need for a dock and would rather the bumper and all he could say was the bumper is out of the question and the dock would be the best he can do...
