i dont know if its me but it doesnt seem to be talking about a camera ? i know that the ipod nano has a camera but does the new ipod touch have one ?
In other changes to the touch line, Apple added a 64GB model, doubling the capacity of the touch. According to Apples calculations, a 64GB touch can store up to 14,000 songs, 90,000 photos, or 80 hours of video. The 64GB iPod touch will sell for $399, the old price tag for the 32GB model. The 32GB iPod touch now costs $299. Apple also eliminated the 16GB iPod touch model, which previously sold for $299. http://www.macworld.com/article/142704/2009/09/ipodtouch.html No camera
There is a new one. They don't have cameras, but they have voice command and the 32gb and 64gb ones are as fast as the 3gs I think.
Well what apple does is they hold out on features every year so people will continue to buy the new models each year. They give it just enough to be worth upgrading to and save features for next year so people will upgrade again. Ass move to the customers, but good move bussiness-wise
Uh... Of course there is no camera. If Apple added on, then it would completely cannibalize the iPhone's sales. They have already stated that the iPhone is their new focus, and until it gets another device-defining feature, there won't be a camera in the iPod Touch. Also, I'd say only upgrade if speed is of importance to you (in my case, I upgraded to a 3GS because speed was important for me).
so i should wait for the camera? because i already have a camera - -; all i wanted was a mic on the ipod so i can use the t-pain app rofl. did they even upgrade the volume thing ?
I don't see this argument at all. Adding a camera to an iPod is not going to make the masses trade in their phone for one. Plus, Apple said they wanted to keep "iPhone only" features, and with the addition of a camcorder to the 3GS, the belief of adding a camera was plausible.
I am willing to bet that this would not be the case. Many people generally cannot afford to pay for an iPhone buy do so anyway for its extra features, but give these to an iPod Touch and they will easily switch to a better network. I would guess iPhone sales would go down a good 30% if the iPod Touch was to get a camera.
Suggestion: go to the store and give the device a test-run yourself. Compare it to your own and see the difference.
theres alot of differences between mine cause i have the first gen but i will test the speaker thing on it.
