Hi all, I've noticed a problem with my iPhone running the OS3 firmware. It began with playing Taxiball where I noticed that the ball, when rolling, seemed to stutter regularly (once a second or so). I initially thought it was the game but I noticed it on Labrynth. I then tried F.A.S.T and it's there too. Even stranger is that it happens in Safari! If I scroll a page slowly but at a constant speed then I see the stutter. I've restored the iPhone with a new download of the OS3 firmware but no change. I don't have time to go back to 2.2.1 tonight but wondering if anyone else has had this with their standard 3G? Edit - Actually noticed this when scrolling down the settings screen! Edit 2 - Well I've just noticed that turning airplane mode on stops the stutter! WTH?
Thought I'd report back that turning off 'Push' in my mail settings has sorted this problem out. Hopefully will help anyone else having this problem
