ipad vs ipod touch gaming

    Unfortunately when I asked at the downtown Palo Alto store they said they do not take pre-orders. Do you mind telling us which store you pre-ordered at?

    I disagree.

    I always play games seated, including tilting driving games, with the hypothenar aspect of my hands on a table (see image below), or seated, but with my hands, wrists and forearms on my thighs. Thus, the 1.5 lb weight of the device would be transferred. Tilting to steer, if done properly, also does not require much rotation.

    Another non-casual type game that would work well would be a 3D TONY HAWK skating game, using Touchgrind's top down two finger controls.

    The version we got a chance to play was the scaled-up iPhone game. The iPad-specific version was not available.

    Also, FWIW, that isn't one of the STP staffers playing NOVA in that video (or playing games in any of the videos, for that matter). We took it over somebody else's shoulder after trying the device out ourselves.
