I agree with this. I've seen a number of iPad videos now of people playing, and it just looks...awkward. Since its a touch screen tablet, you can't set it up a desk like a laptop (unless you want to look straight down, so you have to hold it like a portable device or rest it on your legs like a lot of the videos show. it it takes getting used to, but a device having to to be played like a jumbo portable device just looks weird. I've read a number of complaints on twitter about it. There are some games that play great on it (board games, path drawing like Flight Control, RTS etc..) but games that require both hands to hold the device like dual stick shooters are just weird. If the device isn't that fun to control, people are not going to drop tons of money to game on it.
Personally I just want Mirror's edge on my iphone. iPad look great but i wanna play it on my phone instead
