I'm not sure, but I think that although DannyTheElite wrote iPad 4, it was a typo and should have been iPad 4...
I upgraded from iPad 3, and although I really love my iPad 3, and it's still perfectly serviceable, my 128 GB iPad Air is much faster and smooth overall. There was a few games that didn't work initially, but they've all been updated now, and I have no issues at all. The issue with yellowish tint on the screen, I believe have been an issue on many iPads since the introduction of iPad 2, but only affecting white iPads... I have a white iPad 2 too which had that issue, and I remember reading it was an issue that only affecting the white iPads.
I have the black iPad Air, and it also has the yellowish tint. But as I've said, it is really not noticeable as long as you do not compare it side by side with an iPad with whiter screen. Oh and yes, it is way smoother than iPad 3, less lag.
Ah, well, I stand corrected then. It must be a different issue then, because when the first white iPad 2's was released it was definitely only affecting the white iPads. In any case, I haven't seen any tint on my (black) iPad air.
You guys are lucky. My retina iPad Mini is just sitting at the courier, doing nothing... iPadisGreatAppleDeliveryisCrap...
It was amazing. Apple must have some sort of agreement with NSA, for no sooner had I posted that, then I returned home to see a mini sized parcel... iPadWondersIfItIsTheRetinaMini...
It was indeed the retina iPad Mini in the box. Yay! Now quick question. Is the charger the same one as my iPhone 5C's? Or do I have to use the retina Mini's charger? Back in the 30pin connector days, the iPad 2 needed its own charger or it would not charge, because it drew more power. iPadHasALotOfPowerAdaptorsPluggedIn...
The iPads charger is 12 watts output (I believe it's the same on the mini) and will charge much faster than the 5C charger that is only 5 watts.
