I'm not worried about the actual content as long as i can back it up, but if they close the account and we have to make a new one, that means that any app or song from itunes i accidentally delete will have to be paid for AGAIN! Couldn't they give a warning to not purchase the ebay cards again before deactivating accounts?
Rate my app collection. The ones that have weird icons are ones that I changed because they're in beta/press releases. 2 more pages in the next post.
My two last pages: Please rate, and I know I don't have Real Racing, NFSU, or CiviRev, but if there are any other good cheap games, tell me. Also, the app can't have a really big file size because I have all of this plus 2 GB of music on a 1st gen 8 GB touch. Only 300 MB left. :'( PS: I'm thinking about buying Mini Golf Wacky Worlds, but concerned about the quantity, only 36 holes.
Collection part I Here is my current collection on the iPhone (I have hundreds of apps more in iTunes). There is a certain logic in the ordering.
I'm gonna pick up the Classics book collection based on it's popularity in this thread. Also considering Rasta Monkey... and still waiting on someone to tell me if Light Riders is good for Armagetron fans MGS Touch is now $2.99 and Car Jack Streets is $0.99 so I might pick them up while I'm at it. Good idea? How are the controls on CJS cause I'm usually not very good with virtual d-pads.
Carjack streets got boring after a while. the controls are ok, the game is just kinda...meh. I think i will pick up MGS too.
and @fleabag, you have a good collection of games, but Idk how so many people don't have Real Racing! you need to get it. You are missing out. Anyway, 7.5/10. And at the guy who posted below him, you have a lottt of apps that are not games. But that is ok. The games you have are pretty good too. 7.5/10 @rozzie, I really like your collection, but you are missing out on some of the newer games like RE4. And again. No real racing? 7.5/10
I've got Real Racing on my BargainBin watch list, it might not ever drop in price... so I'll give up eventually. Are any of the more arcade-like racers worth buying?
I think Real Racing and NFS are the only ones worth buying. If you want some mario kart like fun, get Crash Bandicoot racing or Super Monkey ball. Personally don't have either of those but I heard they are decent.
Okay, what's my score without including Real Racing? I don't like raciggames enough to buy one for $9.99. I would much rather get action/platformer/puzzle games that are cheaper.
The classics thing dissapointed me a little bit ;(. I was hoping for crazy awesome page physics like in the description but all you get is about three canned ways to flip the page from the corners and middle. Rasta monkey i suppose is okay if your into that type of game. much better now without the ugly gfx compression. mgs touch is also okay if you like mgs. as for light riders, both that and light bike, even with light riders update that make it look much better, are still kinda "meh". Light riders has better graphics but worse gameplay based on my experience with light bikes lite version. I would hold off on those for now.
real racing is on my list of apps to get when there's a price drop. i do have dozens more apps in my itunes, i rotate them around rather frequently. i'd love to spend more of my $$ on apps, but as it is, most my money and time go directly on my baby boy. comic zeal is actually my fave app, its on my homepage. along with facebook. rozzie
