I agree, not to mention, this game just wouldn't work as a free roaming game, think about how awkward it would to approach the bosses. Plus it would lose a lot of its cinematic feel
Right, It's all part of the story. Although, if you never got the infinity blade in the first game you really missed out on a good portion of the story
Nope, I didn't understand it EDIT Now I do, I read it too fast and missed the "the". I don't think you start IB2 with the Infinity Blade. In fact, in the book Siris loses the Infinity Blade, so my guess is that whatever you do in IB1, you start off IB2 with the suit left behind by the ogres you killed at the end of the book...
The game begins when you approach the temple of Sadyh (spelling?) to duel your way to her so that she gives you info about the whereabouts of the worker of secrets. It doesn't start at the exact end of the book. Look for earlier posts, somewhere on this thread there's the entire beginning of the game. And I think I'm actually going to try the finger workout. Do I have too much time on my hands?
Wait, whaa? I'm quite positive that was the first time I've even commented in this thread about free roaming. If people are seriously asking for it, why are u so keen on shutting them out? I vaguely remember watching a pre-release version of IB (it was named something else at the time, but same gameplay) with free roaming mechanics where a battle sequence was initiated after entering a specific zone. This intrigued me and to this day I would love if this 'demo' became a full fledged game for my device. I know many others want this as well.
I think he st means he's tire of people in generally complaining about it. And i sort of remember that, but I think it works better this way, it sorta makes me feel like I'm playing a movie. Kind of.
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=KK9PCpN4MrI This should get you to it. seems my details were slightly off but you get the picture how awesome this could have been.
Thanks to you for the help with my question, I'm really looking forward to Thursday.( I guessing that the file size will be at least 500 mb)
Anyone notice how Isa spoke in that language during the opening cinematic which was translated then jumped back into English? What's that about? I don't recall there being a name for Her language but she kept dissing immortal language. So what language is being spoken in the book by Sirus? I was also hoping to hear her call him whiskers...
Well, you were trying to sell it as an open-world infinity blade, so he was pointing out you were wrong. But anyway, I'd be open to an open-world, but I kinda like it as is. As someone said above, its very cinematic, and most open world games lose that. There's just a whole lot more material that the devs need to work on, which sort of dilutes the whole experience.
Ok, bud. I was wrong? Watch the video again. It is what I said it was. My point is made clear so I'll stop posting in this thread. Cheers, all.
If there is no reference to her calling him that in IB II, I will be severely disappointed. SPOILER from AWAKENING: She better come back around. At the end of the book when she left because of what he was, I was kind of upset that she didn't stick around. I mean, what does that mean she is.
